WAHIAWA’S GREEN LADY looks like a woman made up of moss and leaves. She steals kids, believing they are her missing children.
Her ethnicity is unknown, and some believe she is a creature similar to the Japanese Kappa instead of a ghost.
Her story varies but usually includes Wahiawa’s Botanical Garden and the elementary school. But since her first appearance is unknown, these locations may have been added after they were established.

Decades ago, a mother walked her children home from Wahiawa’s Botanical Garden. She took a shortcut through a gulch, but then one of her children was missing.
She asked her other children where their sibling was.
