THE MISTREATED PRINCESS Inspired by folklore When Tonga and Samoa were at war, peace was attempted with the marriage of Tonga’s king and a Samoan princess. Her name was Leutogitupaˈitea, or Leutogi. Leutogi would be his second wife, and she hated leaving her beloved Samoa. Fighting resumed between Tonga and Samoa, but Leutogi was stuck in Tonga.
