Once the plane landed, a Royal Guard was waiting to pick us up. He bowed his head to us and the warriors behind us grew even more nervous. They would never survive the trial if they did not calm down.
"Beta Julian and Beta Alice, welcome. I'm Noel and I'll be in charge of your safety during the trial." He introduced himself.
"Thank you." I said. "We appreciate it."
He nodded and led us to a black van similar to the one we had taken to leave our pack. We all climbed into the car and Noel went behind the wheel. We exited the airport and soon the city left place to the forest.
Do you think he's somewhere out here? I asked Julian as I scanned the forest.
