I woke up the next day , brushed my teeth, had a bath, dressed up and got into my car,if there was anything that Charles hated it was lateness and I didn't want to get in trouble with Charles. He could be a real pain in the ass sometimes. It was an eight minute drive from my house to his office. At last I got there, it was a massive ten (10) story building. It was one of Tiger Axis numerous branches. I got into the building, straight into the elevator, then I walked into the office of Charrles without knocking, there were a total of seven people in his office they all looked rough. They were five (5) men and two (2) women. As I walked in Charles said with a slightly raised voice"Why do you always come late we've been waiting for a few minutes". I apologised lying that I got stuck in traffic, he believed my lie and told me to have my seat like the others . He then told us about Leo the son of a millioniare who had recently been kidn*pped the kidnappers were asking for a ransom of twenty five million dollars ($25,000,000) the man who is headbent on not paying the ransom has hired us paying twice the amount for us to rescue his son and kill all the kidnappers, half of it has been paid, the other half will be wired into our account on compleetion of the job. Your mission is to rescue that boy and neutralize all the kidnappers. He asked us if there were any questions, the dark lady who identified herself as Linda raised her hand, she asked for the location of the boy and the date of the operation. Charles replied that the operation is estimated to take place in two weeks time and for the location of the boy he's presently being tracked by our cyber team. I requested to speak to Charles alone so he told the others to wait outside till he calls them back. As soon as the door was shut I asked Charles why he put me in a mission with teammates when he clearly knows that I work alone, I was visibly annoyed and had no time to be formal. Charles replied by first issuing a stern warning to me never to speak to him in such manner as long as we were at work, once we have to do anything business Charles always acted as formal as possible putting our friendship behind him temporarily. After scolding me on my manner of approach he went on to tell me about the magnitude of the mission and the consequences I would face if I failed the mission or if I was caught by the kidnappers, he went on to tell me that everyone on the team were standalone hitmen for Tiger Axis. After I had agreed he called everyone back in and dismissed us assuring us we would be called back once the cyber team found Leo. In less than two minutes I was out of the building already driving home.
