Reed took an unintentional step back, looking between Ryan and me, disbelief twisting his expression, tainted with irritation.
“Impossible...” He hissed.
Ryan didn’t wait a second.
He charged at him, his wolf’s claws ripping into the asphalt at his wild speed, tearing across the track with a deep roar powerful enough to shake the railings surrounding the track.
Reed got over his shock almost immediately and lunged forward, meeting Ryan mid air in a violent collision of wolf and man. Ryan won with brute strength this time, sending Reed flying across the track like a ragdoll.
His body skidded violently, claws shredding the asphalt as he scrambled to regain footing, but Ryan didn’t spare him a moment’s space and was on him instantly, fangs snapping inches from his exposed throat
