Desiree arrived to the council chambers, shocked to see the actual Blackstone council seated behind the podium with Declan. They were older members of the pack, most of whom Desiree knew because they lived in the village. As she entered the chamber she was heartened to see mostly pleasant expressions among the council members as she approached the bench.
