My sister started going out with Bob during our last year at secondary school; the most beautiful couple in the school was born then: she was the eternally courted girl and he was the boy the county girls desired the most.
Sarah wasn’t just one with her mobile anymore, but with her boyfriend too now. They spent all the time at school holding each other’s hand, lost in each other’s eyes. They kissed whenever they could and that made me feel sick. As if that wasn’t enough, Alison found a boyfriend too that year. She met Alan at a Halloween party organized in a deconsecrated church, when she dressed up as a gothic Lolita, and that was love at first sight.
