Aurora's POV
As the crowd dispersed, Brian led me to his private lounge.
I felt a chill run down my spine, knowing a cold gaze was boring into my back.
No need to turn around—I knew it was Gabriel.
But right now, I had bigger fish to fry.
I was dying to ask Brian how he knew I hadn't been with the rogue wolf. I had told Gabriel I slept with a rogue, but in truth, it was the Alpha I was talking about. I used that lie to push Gabriel to divorce me. But has Brian discovered the truth? I could hardly bear to think of how he might punish me for that.
With a click, Brian locked the door behind us.
His eyes were serious, and there was an edge to his voice that felt almost like a warning.
"Aurora, explain to me. When did I become a rogue?"
