Aurora's POV
I wasn't used to wearing anything like this dress, and I felt weird seeing myself this way.
While the cashier was running the card, I headed back to the changing room.
"I'm putting my regular clothes back on," I said.
But right then, I stepped on the bottom of the dress and started to fall forward.
"Oh no! This is gonna be so bad!"
That's all I could think about.
Just when I thought I was going to face-plant, someone grabbed me.
When reality sank in, I found myself enveloped in Brian's warm embrace. The fitted mermaid dress left me aware of his body heat, my form pressed against his muscular chest.
I could sense Brian stiffen for a brief moment.
In an instant, my mind flashed with countless memories of our intimacy. I pulled away from his embrace.
"Thank you," I mut
