I shot up into a sitting position and instantly regretted it as a dizzy spell hit me. As I was falling backward, a pair of strong hands grabbed me in order to slow down my descent onto the pillow. "Ben?" Turning my head to the side, my heart dropped. Even with my vision blurry as it was, there was no mistaking that caramel-colored skin. "Teddy."
"Sorry to disappoint you, alpha."
"How are you feeling, Guinevere?" Looking next to Teddy, there was Jenny sitting in a chair. And as I looked around to the other side of the bed there sat my parents.
"I'm okay, but where is Ben? How is he doing?" Teddy moved so that I could see behind him. Benjamin was hooked up to a breathing machine, heart monitor, and IV packs in the bed next to me. Looking around to check that I wasn't hooked
