NORA POV A few minutes later I was laughing so hard my stomach hurt. “Mira… don’t kill me,” I said, holding my side. We had been giggling nonstop and I couldn’t remember the last time I laughed this much. I could tell Mira is in her own world, talking about her clothes, swinging her hands around, bouncing like a child. She couldn’t stop smiling because she didn’t have to wear that Omega maid uniform again. She was so carried away she didn’t even notice she was talking too fast. “And King Derek already arranged an allowance for me,” she said proudly, her eyes shining. I shook my head. “So you’re cutting your hair to look like a tomboy or maybe an Alpha?” I teased. Instead of gasping she nodded quickly. “Yes. I think it will even suit me. Short hair, loose clothes, I will look fresh.”
