Cara was in her room lying on her bed. She and her parents had gotten into a fight again. They just couldn"t seem to get along even though they all wanted to.
Cara had been trying to connect with God. She had felt He had been with her all during the time she was a captive. Since returning home she had gone to church and tried to read the Bible, but it was so hard to understand. For the last couple of weeks, she had joined her mother when she was reading Bible stories to her little sister from the Bible Stories book. Last week her mother had read about Joseph. She had read about how Joseph had been sold by his brother and had ended up in jail and how eventually he had worked his way to become a trusted advisor to the king and put in charge of the king’s warehouse.
