Jen was laying out lunch in a makeshift area of the cafeteria. The work in the kitchen was coming along. Jessica was already planning a celebration dinner for everyone helping with the renovation when they were closer to completion.
When she saw Gordan walk in she jumped up and went to him. He gave her a big hug.
“I didn’t know you were working here,” Jen pronounced.
