“There have been a lot of ups and downs over the last couple of months since our residents came. In a few minutes, you will hear three of them tell you their story. I wish I could tell you all of our residents are doing this well and that each is a success story. Unfortunately, not everyone responds in the way we would like and has the desire to do well. I want to thank all of you who have contributed in the past. Thank you, Jaz, um Jasmine, for organizing this fundraiser and believing in us, and supporting us from the beginning. Now I will stop talking and let you listen to Trevor. He has been with us the longest and has a great story. Trevor,” Jake motioned to him.
Trevor went onto the stage. Jake could see how nervous he was. He was so proud of Trevor. He was doing so well.
