3rd POV

She was ready. She also wasn't.

Those days leading up were spent as the Mikealson men became frequent visitors to the young couples home and in their bed, whether it was for one or both of them. Sometimes they showed up together, others were separate. But they had fun. They also fell harder in love not just with Chloe but also with Felix who was calm, patient, genuine, but could also be dominate, firm, and bloodthirsty as seen on hunts.

The night of the full moon the villages gathered in the caves and prepared to wait till morning in the safety of the caves. Chloe was also planning and that night when the wolves began to howl, Niklaus feeling drawn to the creatures of the night went out to investigate and Henrik in fancy followed him. Getting to a good place Niklaus began climbing a tree to watch them from above not realizing he left Henrik behind. Until he saw him come through the bush looking confused, Niklaus was terrified as he heard the beasts getting closer and jumped down to help Henrik climb up.

It was too late though, sensing both were like them, they immediately surrounded them and tore into Henrik who seemed weaker until Niklaus with the help of Gavin fended them off of the young boy. Niklaus recognized the wolf as Gavin and thanked him, then ran back to the caves and to his mother whom he hoped could help.

Screaming woke the villages and they jumped to count everyone, just then Niklaus holding Henrik's mangled body ran into the safety of the cave with Gavin and Neil who joined them on the boys tails. Esther jumped towards them immediately attempting to save him with her magic even Ayanna offered to help but they were too late. Thankfully it wasn't too late for Chloe, she shoved Esther out of the way and Ayanna immediately followed she chanted as she grounded herbs and made him swallow them. They made his body twitch and him moan in pain, Esther was being held back by Mikeal when she tried to jump on the small witch. Then the roots came from the ground and enclosed his body in a healing cocoon faintly glowing gold and she stopped chanting sighing.

"Well?" Mikeal demanded.

"Now it's up to him." Ayanna snapped not liking the tone he used or his display of beating his son before he stopped when he noticed Esther about to jump the poor girl.

"It will take a while, but I believe he'll pull through," Chloe wiped her sweat and slowly stood but was too shaky, luckily Felix saw and was immediately at her side to catch her.

"That's enough!" Felix demanded sternly when he saw the look Esther was giving Chloe, disdain. "My wife is pregnant and not only is she risking herself by doing this, she's risking the babe too."

His statement shocked everyone into silence and they stared at the young girl who was sleeping comfortably in her husband's arms. "Henrik will come with us, so we can monitor his condition." With that he walked back to their home.

The Mikealson boys followed holding Henrik's cocoon surrounded by Gavin, Neil, Sofia and her husband as a safety net. By the time they got back the sun was about to rise, so the wolves took off and everyone else stayed with Felix until Chloe woke up.

When she awoke, she was bombarded with kisses and hugs and caresses, all types of love and congratulations. She knew she was pregnant before the full moon, her kind are sensitive to these things and know early on. She also had a feeling it was a Mikealson baby and not a Felixson, so she told him as such and he didn't care because no matter what it was theirs. They planned to tell the boys once all the family and extra people left, but for now they celebrated a new life and saving a life.

Two people didn't see it this way though and began making their own preparations. Esther was convinced Henrik had died and Chloe was just covering it up because she was close to Niklaus forgetting Henrik is her best friend. And Mikeal who hoped only for his wife to crush that, demanded she find a way to protect their remaining children.

Chloe felt the shift in the air and knew it was starting. She gently caressed her stomach and felt her restrictions still in place meaning she'd have to wait until after they completed their transition. It was time to play the long game.

The next day it was finally quiet enough in the house to deliver the news to the Mikealson brothers. They secretly invited them over not wanting Esther or Mikeal to know and that night when they met up, they showered them in love to help them feel better.

"I have something to tell you all and I don't know how you're going to react," the brothers nodded in understanding knowing they were ticking time bombs around their parents now. "I only ask that no one outside this room other than Rebekah gets told. This involves my entire family."

They reassured her that they wouldn't tell a soul and they'd find a separate time to tell Rebekah.

"First my mother's side of the family are Elves and myself I'm a very powerful very of Elvish and Fair Folk called a Nyphm. There are few who know because we're often used for our power then killed or drained. We're a peaceful people, but there are so few of us now that we hide as witches." She motioned to her pointed ears and sharpened teeth and let them examine them. "That was the first part the second, I mind as well just rip the bandaid off: the baby is most likely one of yours," she said really quickly and seeing their bewildered expressions she decided to elaborate. "Like I mentioned before we are a powerful race and I felt the connection of a new life forming inside of me, only after we all began sleeping with each other."

All of the men had thinking expressions on but none of them were disgusted, angry, or seemed to have any negative feelings. Kol jumped up from his seat and placed kisses on her stomach making her laugh. Niklaus and Elijah were also pretty excited about the possibility and each occupied a hand placing kisses on her knuckles. Finn looked on with a fond expression that became determined.

"I'll cancel my engagement," Finn told them both seriously.

"Are you sure I won't be able to tell who the father is until another 2 weeks?" Chloe asked now looking bewildered.

"It doesn't matter," Niklaus told her honestly.

"We all want that with you," Kol finished looking serious for once.

"Although that's great, the babe would be known as Felixson or Felixdotur as per our marriage." Felix stated and watched their expressions curiously.

"Did you think we forgot about you, love?" Kol asked teasingly

"We know," Niklaus reassured him

But Elijah shocked them all by pulling Felix into a kiss, something he hasn't done yet, "We're all in."

They all celebrated and planned when Chloe got pulled into a vision. She bit her lip to stop herself from biting her tongue and started shaking alerting all the men.

Her eyes were still glowing as she talked, "Don't tell Esther or she'll give Dahlia our baby just like she did to Freya."

That one sentence was a bucket of ice cold water on Finn, "Mother did what?" His tone matched his outraged face. The other boys were either not born or in Elijah's case too young to remember Freya and just took their Mothers word for it.

Chloe reached out for Finn eyes still glowing and he hurriedly arrived at her side. She gently placed her finger in the center of his forehead and he instantly got his memory of that day back making tears pour out of his eyes.

"I remember now she came and mother didn't even fight for her while father was away on a hunting trip. She made a Dahlia a deal of every first born child with Mikealson blood would be taken in exchange for mother's infertility to change." He informed his brothers, everyone now back to the present.

"You guys can't say anything about knowing or what you saw or what you heard, it stays here. The whole house is sound proof no one will know." Chloe panicked a bit before remembering, "this will protect your minds." Then she blew Fairy dust at all of them, even Henrik's cocoon.

"What the blood hell was that?" Niklaus asked coughing a bit.

"Fairy dust," she answered simply making all the men gape openly at her.

"Okay. It's getting late you guys should go home, be safe" Felix told them noticing it was getting harder for her to keep her eyes open.

They all agreed and went their separate ways. The boys found a time to tell Rebekah about the Elf history and Chloe sprinkled a little fairy dust on her later on just to be safe.

Time Skip 2 weeks later

How do you console your lovers with the new changes that they're forced to face?

By being there for them.

When Henrik awakened, Chloe told him everything and walked him home. When they arrived, it was to see the Mikealsons drinking blood from a random man with bloody clothes and Mikeal standing there, sword in hand. She could only shield him as they noticed them, and the look of horror on Mikeals face was justified.

Why had he listened to a jealous Esther? There stood Henrik perfectly fine and alive. But it was too late to regret, so he dragged Henrik away forcing him to drink the blood tainted wine and killed him just like the others. Chloe wanted to help, but the siblings were afraid their father would hurt her and formed a shield around her and made her not watch.

Regardless they were also crying, Henrik was only 16, sure he may look a little older, but he was still practically a child. And to die twice was cruel.

When he woke, they helped him gently drink from the man and then disposed of the body. They took Chloe home, but realized they couldn't enter anymore. Seeing their distress she invited them in by name not wanting to risk Mikeal entrance. Then they told Felix everything that happened. All of them including Rebekah stayed the night and just cuddled and cried and sought out comfort in the form of the beating hearts coming from Chloe's stomach.

It didn't really hit them until the next morning. Finn very gently turned Chloe around while she was cooking breakfast and dropped down to his knees pressing his ear to her stomach. They were confused until they decided to listen in with him and their expression instantly morphed to shock causing her to giggle. Felix realizing what happened joined her in laughing and sat them down to tell them the news they found out.

"Chloe's having six babes," Felix told them gently while Chloe finished up the food and started plating things. Only then did they move, to take things away from her and move her to a seat.

"I can still do things it's early enough, I'm only about... how long have we been together? 3 months" Chloe did the math and nodded when she got a confirming nod from Felix.

"I think it's time we find out what all you can't do and can do away from the villagers, it's still dark but the sun would be rising soon," Felix informed them.

They nodded in agreement and set off back home to inquire about their new situation.

Here's some things they learnt:

- The sun burns them but not deadly

Esther made them enchanted rings to protect them

- They had to be invited into owned houses

- Vervain burns them badly

- Only white oak from the White Oak tree could kill them

They burnt it to the ground

- The thirst for blood could be curbed with alcohol

Tested by getting blackout drunk

- They didn't have to share meals and it didn't help the thirst

Ever since the change Esther had them caged up and only brought one human for them to share occasionally

The last one resulted in this moment. Niklaus just finished his meal being the last one for once and as the man dropped dead, his bones began to crack and deform and reform. Fortunately Neil was passing through and was able to help him. Unfortunately Mikeal was there and was able to figure out Niklaus was NOT his son.

Esther finally admitting to cheating on Mikeal and not just Niklaus but also Henrik was not his son. He lost his s**t. He demanded Esther to chain up Niklaus and bound his wolf side away. Henrik hadn't triggered his yet, so he wasn't included until he did.

Chloe cried and shouted but she was pregnant and couldn't do anything. He made her run away and not watch. She ran straight to Ansel, who she knew was his father, and warned him. He was devastated about the cruelty his kin had faced and glad he had a son and his daughter could have a sibling.

All too soon Mikeal came with a vengeance and tore through the wolves. He couldn't get a name from Esther, so he took down as many as he could before they discovered something else: Wolves bites were fatal to vampires. Lucky for Mikeal he had Esther and he finally stopped his bloodshed, but he started a war on species that would last hundreds of years.

Chloe was able to save Ansel, his daughter Farrah, and her intended Joseph before Mikeal could kill them. She granted the couple a temporary immunity, enough for them to leave the village and never return. As for Ansel he was willing to be Immortal and follow Chloe for saving his children and his life and for the grandchild she was about to give him. She changed his appearance until he was ready to come out to Niklaus and Henrik and went home to Felix who had just returned from his hunting trip with a few other village men.

She explained everything and the couple welcomed him with open arms. The house was protected from the craziness going on outside and it always would be.

The following months saw all types of changes. Esther was no more as Niklaus caught up to her and tore her heart from her chest. Chloe knew she'd be back though, until then she'd cut Esther off from the other side. No manipulating her children anymore for her and she took some of the daggers, the others already missing (There were originally 9, she took 5 of them). And she kept the white oak stakes knowing if she got rid of them, the next tree would grow faster.

Mikeal began taunting his children for Esther had made him into a vampire, vampire hunter. But he didn't have the weapons to kill them so it wasn't drastic yet. The siblings basically lived at Chloe's house and she magically extended it from the inside to make room for them. She was nearing her birthing date and had called several wet nurses and her old birthing doctor who was an old witch from France who had close ties to her mother's family.

During the birth, the smell of blood became too much for them and they all decided anonymously to wait outside for it to be over. Instead they helped carry buckets of water in and buckets of blood out. It was a long process and because the door was open, the whole village could hear her screams. Her family came and helped where they could and everyone else in town prayed for their sunshine's safety and safe delivery.

It took 3 days before the screaming finally stopped and all the babies were out. There were 7 baby bassinets crowded around Chloe by the time anyone was allowed into the room. The family all knew the Mikealsons were different, but they also knew they wouldn't hurt her. Everyone congratulated on the safe birth and left the family alone.

Delilah and Neil were proud of her although her mother did raise a brow at her making her blush. They were just sad Helm wasn't there to see it, he got caught in the crossfire with Mikeal, but he was also the one who bit him. Ansel cried and gave the new parents some space, same as her parents who began packing up their house, but stayed for their grandchildren's birth. The whole family was leaving including her sister and brothers family, they were almost a casualty too and wanted no part in it. They planned to move back to Italy and live in her father's family home. She'd miss them but she understood.

When it was just the new parents Chloe gently pointed out who'd babe was whose.

"This babe came first he's Henrik's, this babe came next she's Finn's, then this one she's Kols babe for sure, and behind her was this babe and he's Niklaus, then the twins were Felix's babes one of each, and last was the easiest Elijah's girl." They all moved to hold their babe and Felix handed one of his to Rebekah making her emotional too. They all cried and cooed at the babies and made them laugh until they fell asleep. "They look just like you guys it's really not fair," Chloe playfully pouted making them laugh and coo at her.

Once the babes were put back into their bassinets, Chloe motioned for them all to get into bed with her. They did gently being mindful of her weak body and the sleeping babes. "No one with bad intentions can enter this house supernatural or not, so don't worry," this indeed made all the vampires relax. "I'd like them to be raised human if possible and live out their lives peacefully. We'll all live for a very long time, but I want to give them that choice." They all understood and nodded deciding to follow her lead.
