CHAPTER TWO
Going downstairs, I found Sophia in the kitchen cooking something so delicious that made my stomach go wild.
"Hey Soph. Morning" I said while taking the vacant seat on the counter. She instantly turn her head towards me, then dropping the spatula and turning off the stove. She approached me and pulled me into my seat.
"Hey yourself sissy! Happy eighteenth Birthday! Finally you're going to have a mate!" she said while pulling me into a breathtaking hug.
"Soph.. I..I can...can't breathe..." I said grasping for air.
"Oh sorry! By the way, you look hot and glowing" she said pulling away from me and winking.
"Thanks" I muttered as I take my seat.
"Riona? Do you mind if you can be my plus one for this night event? There's a Thanksgiving ball this evening, everyone will show up there. All the alphas and their beta of every pack. Since it's your birthday, why don't you come and join me? Let's get laid tonight!" she said while placing my pancakes in front of me.
"Sure! It's going to be fun! I'm legal, and I can do whatever I want!" then It hits me. What am I gonna wear? My hair? Makeup?
"Yay! Don't worry about your needs tonight, I'll provide it for you." she said winking.
I melted at her words. Ever since I become alone, she's the one who's always there for me. Since the beginning, she treated me like her own sister, she helped me, she is my shoulder to lean on when my parents kick me out of our house. She let me stayed at her house . And she provided me everything that I need.
"Soph?" I said standing and walking into her.
She turned around and face me. "Si?" ( yes?)
"Thank you, for everything... I don't know what to do without you in my life. Thank you, I always owe my whole life to you. And I love you Soph." I said as I hug her.
"I love you too sis, and don't say that you owe me. We are bestfriend right? We need each other. So let's stop this drama and eat." she said while pulling away and grinning at me.
I sat then my thoughts drift for tonight. My mate. He might be there at the ball. There's a chance that I can meet him today.
'I'm so excited lathriona!' my wolf howled in joy.
'Well let's see what will happen tonight' I said shutting her and decided to eat.

I was in my room seating on my bed. I checked my watch. It's almost six pm, sophia said the ball will going to start at seven. So I decided to take a shower.
Shampooing my hair with my favorite scent of cherries and with the hint of vanilla, waxing my legs and my underarms. Wrapping my body with the towel, I walked into my closet and put my maroon Victoria Secret lace thong and bra. And wore my robe then I headed to Sophia's room.
"Soph? What am I going to wear? You know, this 'let's get laid tonight ' thing is so sudden, I never had a chance to buy clothes." I said entering in her room.
Sophia was holding a box with a ribbon on it.
"Happy birthday Riona! Come on open it!"
"Soph, thank you. But you don't need to do this, you've given me too much since the day that you let me in to your house."
"Ri, this conversation is over. Take.It.Now. Don't make my money go to waste. Please take it." she said with pleading eyes.
"Fine. Thank you Soph!" Taking the box, I place it on her bed and opened it.
I gasped at the site of my dress.
It's a maroon v neckline bodycon mermaid style dress. Thin straps with a bits of diamonds from the waist to downward. The ends of my dress hits the floor with a slit up to my thighs. It's so beautiful and elegant.
"Sophia... This is.. so beautiful! Thank you so so much!" I said while hugging and kissing her cheeks.
"Welcome. Now, go and change and lemme do the magic." She said while grinning and winking at me.
I walked into her bathroom and quickly change.
I stared at myself in the mirror. All I can say is WOW.
The dress was perfectly hugging my frame, the small sight of my cleavage complimented my look. The diamonds are magnificent!
'Stunning' my wolf whispered at me. 'Thank you Joyce' I reply and getting out of the bathroom.
I saw Sophia wearing a open back black satin dress. The criss crossed straps resting on her shoulder. The dress hugging her body perfectly.
"Soph, you're gorgeous! Your mate is so lucky to have you!" We are still both unmated she-wolf, like me, she's waiting for her mate.
"No! You're the one who's so f ucking beautiful and stunning here! It's your night remember? Let me take care of everything!" she said pulling in her vanity table.
Well it's going to be a long night...
