Scarlet POV Zain leans forward again, his voice tight. “Did you try to message her?” I nod slowly. “Yeah. I did. A few times.” He stares at me for a long second, his expression hardening. “Which she didn't bother to reply to?” I shake my head, feeling my throat tighten a little. Zain leans back against the booth with a sharp breath, dragging a hand down his face like he’s trying to keep from snapping. Liam shifts beside me, clearly picking up on how close Zain is to losing it.
