Liam POV
I stay quiet, letting Zain process. He’s not saying anything yet, and I’m not about to push. I know I should’ve told him sooner, but it just… happened. I never planned to say it to Scarlet. It came out.
“This is going to sound bad, but maybe it’s good she knows now. If we kept holding it in, something would’ve snapped and it would’ve been worse.”
