Chapter 9

Alex POV;

Me,Taehyung and Hoseok went together to a meeting at Namjoon's.

All I could think about was Yoongi and what will happen when I see him,or when he sees me. I will try to stay calm and collected,I will try.

When we entered the office I saw Jin,Jungkook and Jimin. They where already there,Namjoon was sitting behind his table waiting for all of us too gather.

I said my greetings with all off them and set down on the far end of the office.The place where Taehyung would usually sit,and he set beside me.

Not a minute passed,Yoongi showed up. We glanced at each other,I straighten my back and clenched my fists on my thighs. Yoongi gave me an evil side look and set on the other side off the office.

I felt Taehyung's hand slowly climbing on my back and it stopped behind my neck giving me a gentle squeeze. I glanced at him,he looked mad and was biting his lip his eyes shimmered gold,he was gently rubbing my neck making me feel more relaxed.

"I have some news to share with you all. I decided to make some changes, I've been receiving reports about increased activity in the woods. There have been reports that both humans and vampires are now invading our territory. So from now on we will go three at the time in team's off eight. You will all carry silver and regular ammo and use it accordingly. And also we are expanding our boundary for extra 5 km,right to the edge of the open field. Don't go out on the open stay hidden in the woods. Tomorrow morning are going Hoseok and Alex on their regular schedule and Jimin you will go with them. New schedules will be assigned later today. I think this is it for now. Any questions?"

Namjoon had a long talk,we all listened to our new orders with straight faces not missing a word he said.

No one had any questions so Namjoon send everyone away.

"Wait,Alex and Yoongi,you two stay for a minute."

Namjoon stopped us before we could leave. Taehyung gave me a look and whispered to my ear.

"Will you be ok with this mother fucker?"

"Yeah wait for me outside." I said to Taehyung,gently touching his hand before he moved away from me. He glanced toward Yoongi with his golden eyes full off anger.

Taehyung left closing the door behind him. Now I was left with Namjoon and Yoongi alone in the room. I stepped closer but not to close to Yoongi. Air in the room thickness.

"I heard everything." Namjoon said to us,we both stayed silent.

"Yoongi,wtf where you thinking raising a hand on a woman?! I had my faith in you,I thought you have some respect!"

Namjoon raise his voice,Yoongi bit his lip and looked away from Namjoon.

"It wasn't his fault,I pushed him to snap at me." I said and it was true.

"Why the hell are you defending him?!"

Now Namjoon jelled at me.

"I'm not, that's what happened." I calmly said.

"You don't have anything to say? What's wrong with you?"

Namjoon asked Yoongi,he frowned.

"Nothing is wrong with me,she provoked me and we got into a fight,I don't care that she is a woman."

"Are you insane?You could've kill her!"

Namjoon said to him pointing at me with his finger. Me and Yoongi smirked sharing a short glance.

"Not like I didn't try." Yoongi comments and turns his head away from us.

"You didn't try hard enough." I said arrogantly slightly shifting on my feet. Yoongi turned his head toward me and bit his lip smirking.

"Deal I'll try harder next time..." He said to me and giggles a little. I almost smile but I remained serious. I felt some weird vibe between us I couldn't describe what it was.

"Wtf! You know what....I don't have time or nerves for this s**t,you two sort things out! I don't want to hear another word involving the two off you or Taehyung! Understand?"

Damn Namjoon was mad,his veins popped up on his forehead and he started sweating. Me and Yoongi nodded our heads like we understand but I think we didn't. Only way we could put all aside is for him to back down.

We exited the office together,Taehyung was in front waiting for me. When he saw Yoongi he straighten his back and took a short deep breath. I walked to him immediately so I can stand in between them if they snap at each other.

"See you later baby." Yoongi said to me with a smirk when he passed us.

Taehyung growl's at him. I put my hand on Tae's chest to calm him down,his heart was beating fast and loud I could feel his blood pumping thru his veins. The memory of sweet blood on my lips took me by a surprise,I was long ago sense I taste that delicious liquid.

"Are you ok?Alex?" Taehyung snapped me out of my memories.

"Yeah Yeah I'm fine." I said.

Rest of the day I spend at Taehyung's home. We shared laugh's and talked for hours,we where bonding on another level,I loved everything about him. He made me happy and safe, something I didn't experience for a long time. Last time I was that happy was with my Pack,and that is something I can't get back.

Next morning;

Alex POV;

I meet with Hoseok and Jimin at the armoury we gather our gear and had out to the woods. We heard from the night shift that it was pretty quiet for hours. We didn't think much about it and carried on swiping the area.

We had small talks here and there,it was indeed quiet and that gave me chills. We stopped for a few minutes to get some rest after walking for three hours. We where still on alert not letting our gard down.

"It feels weird." Hoseok comments looking around.

"Yeah I crave for some action." Jimin said and I noticed small smile on Hoseok's face. What was that smile about?

"What's funny?" I asked Hoseok bumping his shoulder,I was so curious. Jimin glanced at us with confused face. I think he didn't see Hoseok smiling.

"Nothing." Hoseok answers glancing at Jimin,he licked corner of his lips making Jimin turn his head away. But before he did I thought I saw Jimin blush. Weird tension was between them and I didn't know what it was.

"Should we move along?" Jimin asked us sounding eager. I nodded my head and waited for Hoseok to respond.

"Let's move." Hoseok said getting up and we followed.

We went to the edge off the woods and stayed there for a few minutes hiding in the shade of the thick trees.

"I hear something." Hoseok said,me and Jimin just stayed quiet,we hear the same sounds. I looked around trying to pinpoint the sound's and the familiar scent. After few moments figure steps out from the far side of grass plain. We aimed at him but didn't shoot.

His figure was intimidating,he was tall and strong,his face was with no expression. I recognized him. It was Lee,he was from my Pack.

The figure looked like him but his eyes didn't. It was him but at the same time it wasn't. Warm,loving, smiling Lee was gone.

"I'll take him out." Jimin whispered and I grabbed his rifle, pulling it down. He was shocked by my reaction.

"No...leave him...we must turn back..."

"What?!" Hoseok said in disbelief.

"Thrust me on this... we must go...now..." I didn't look away from Lee,and I think he knew I was here. I got scared for mine, Jimin's and Hoseok's safety.

"Ok..." Hoseok finally said looking at my face with a concern plastered on his face.

We backed down and got away far as we could. Lee didn't follow us,guess he stayed put. I was shocked that he was here,and confused why he didn't attack us. Some of us would surely ended up dead.

"Alex,why did you stop me?" Jimin grabbed my hand to stop walking and answer his question.

I really didn't know what to say to him without telling something I shouldn't.

"It didn't feal right, something was off." Hoseok rubbed his head,he wasn't talking to us,he was talking to him self trying to figure something out.

"You are right Hoseok, that's why I stopped you Jimin for shooting him."

I said to Jimin but his face told me he wasn't convinced.

"Do you know that men?" Hoseok asked me,I wanted to tell him but not now and not in front off Jimin. I tilted my head toward Jimin signaling Hoseok to send him away. He nodded his head understanding my request.

"Jimin go in front,check the area."

"Ok ..." Jimin said and walked away.

"Talk." Hoseok said to me letting his guard down and turning his attention to me.

"I will but not now,I want you to come with me,after the shift,to talk with Namjoon in private."

"Why me?"

"I thrust you,is that enough?"

"Why wouldn't you go with Taehyung? You don't thrust him?"

"I do,but...you will understand everything later,ok?"

Hoseok nodded his head,he didn't ask me anything else and we joined Jimin on the lookout. As for Jimin he wasn't happy that me and Hoseok where excluding him from our conversation.

Few hours later;

Taehyung POV;

I was sitting on a bench in a small park, surrounded by greenery all alone deep in my thoughts. I stared at one point in front of me,focusing my eyes at nothing,when I felt a light touch on my shoulder. Before I could turn around to see who it is,she sits beside me.

"What are you doing here?" Alex asked me with a small smile on her face. I study it for few seconds,her face was pale,dark circles under her eyes,messy hair was spread over her shoulders,she was tired but she looked beautiful.

"Nothing much...You ok?" I brought my hand to her cheek and caressed her soft skin. She leaned her head on my hand and closed her eyes,she enjoyed my touch.

"Yeah, I'm ok."

"Did you sleep at all?" I asked and she nodded no. I sighed softly.

"Let's go,you must rest."

"Ok."

I took her hand and we started walking toward my home. I felt eyes on us from the people in my Pack,they where looking at Alex, frowning,giving her side looks. And when I looked at her,she was walking with her head down. She must felt that they where watching her,where did my fearless Alex fade away? I pulled her closer to me wrapping my hand around her waist,she lifted her head and gave me a little smile.

"You should move in?"

"What?" She asked me like she didn't understand my question.

"Why not? Unless you don't want to..."

"No! It's just...." She glanced around for a few seconds not finishing her sentence.

"Don't worry about them. Worry about me." I said to her and she glances at me with confusion written on her face.

"What do you mean?"

I lean closer to her ear and whisper.

"You will brake my heart and hurt me if you say no."

Alex giggles and playfully punches my chest.

"You idiot."

We reached my home and she went first to take a quick shower,I waited for her stretched on my bed.

After few minutes Alex came from the bathroom,her curly hair was messy and spread on her shoulders with a few shorter curls hanging in front of her face, which was no longer pale it had pink tint on her cheeks. She was wearing oversized white shirt that reached right to her thighs. And those long toned legs, uhh....

"Tae,you are staring..." Alex said laying next to me. I turned to face her.

"Sorry,you are breathtaking."

She blushed with a sweet smile that melted my heart.

I leaned closer and pecked her pink plump lips few times.

"Rest baby." I said to her quietly almost whispering.

Soon as I said that she closed her eyes and fell asleep.

I couldn't help myself and not look at her sleeping. I even took a small nap.

After some time I was abruptly awaken by Alex. She jumped of the bed and ran to the corner of the room. She dropped down pulling her knees to her chest,she was breathing heavily.

"Alex?" I rubbed my eyes and noticed that she is crying and she looked scared.

I got of the bed instantly and went to her.

"What's wrong?" I asked her whipping tears of her cheeks with my thumbs,she didn't answer me,tears just kept sliding from her eyes.

I pulled her closer to me and hugged her tightly I didn't know what else to do or to say. She sobbed and shivered in my arms for sometime,my heart hurts for not being able to help her and for seeing her like this.

Alex POV;

I dreamed about Lee, about our Pack,how happy we were in our little family. I dreamed about running.I dreamed about being tortured.I dreamed about pain we shared. I dreamed about losing them all. I dreamed about them not being themselves. They changed,they are not my family any more. They left me and I left them.

I slowly calmed down being held in a tight hug wrapped around me, holding me safely and loving at the same time. I looked up to meet those gorgeous golden eyes in which I lose myself easily. They looked worried and sad.

"I'm sorry." I whispered.

"Are you ok?" He asked me letting lose his grip on me.

"Yeah...I had a nightmare..." I just said and sighed softly.

"Do you want to talk about it?"

"No...no...I just want to forget."

"Ok... let's get you back to bed."

Taehyung stood up and gently pulled me up. He walked me to the bed and tucked me in. He laid next to me still looking concerned.

"I'll be ok...it was just a bad dream." I reassured him.

"It looked more than that...When I saw you crying it broke me,I didn't know what to do."

"You where there for me,by me,that was enough."

I said and peck his lips. I peck them few times more getting on top of him.

"What are you doing?" Taehyung asked me between pecks,he was confused by my behavior.

"I told you...I wanna forget." I bit his lip so he opens his pretty mouth so I can kiss him properly. And it worked,he got the message. We played with our tongues,it was getting hotter in the room.
