Chapter 18

Alex POV;

Last night boy's decided that Taehyung will be going with me to scout the area they didn't search yet. Along with two other people who are supposed to go anyway. Yoongi said he will go with me tomorrow morning.

When we arrived at the armory to meet up and take our gear,Jimin was there waiting for us.

"Hey Jimin,are you coming with us?" Taehyung asked him while taking his guns.

"No,I just came to give you this." He handed me some device,little black box size of a palm.

"What is this?" I asked spinning and examining the thing.

"This will help us map the area you search,it will automatically send information to my computer and it also has a panic button. If you guys get in trouble we can send backup quickly to your location." Jimin explained to us what the device is,Taehyung smiled and came closer to him. He patted his shoulder.

"You Jimin are so smart, sometimes I'm jealous."

"Thanks Tae..." Jimin blushes at Tae praising him. That boy was the cutest,so kind and thoughtful, I could never imagine him in a fight killing,but I've seen him doing that and it was mind-blowing. Jimin has two sides to his personality.

"We must get going." I said taking the last things I needed.

Jimin said bye to us and wished us luck.

Two hours later;

"Does anything look familiar?" Taehyung asked me looking around thru thick woods.

"No." And it really doesn't,the day that I escaped from Hoon's base I really wasn't paying attention to my surroundings I just wanted to get away far as I could. And army of vampires following me, shooting at me just made me run for my life.

Tall trees around us and dead silence. We stud our ground and just observed,I didn't say anything but I had a feeling of being watched. That's why I was extra careful, senses sharpened not taking any chances for a mistake.

"Let's move..." I whisper after I didn't see anything suspicious.

We split up,but not to far away from each other,we covered more ground that way.

After a few minutes I heard a branch snap not to far away from me. I carefully went in the direction of the sound.

"You are looking good as new."

Whisper came from behind the thick tree. I lowered my rifle and chuckle.

Behind the tree was a tall guy leaning on it with arms crossed over his chest. He had a smile on his face that showed his pointed teeth,yes he was a vampire.

"Max...do you want to get yourself killed?" I asked him looking where are the others from my team. They where far away from us,they couldn't see or hear us.

"How are you?" Max asked me giving me small half hug.

"Pretty good actually,you?"

"So so,I had better days." He answered leaning on the tree again.

"What are you doing here?Are you alone?" I asked him again looking around.

"Relax, I'm alone. Just taking a stroll through the woods, usually it's peaceful here but then I saw you guys roaming around here." Max scanned me with his dark eyes while talking.

"What?" I looked at myself to see why is he looking at me like that.

"Nothing,I didn't see you for a long time. You changed..." He said smirking,I tilted my head to the side and smirked back.

"In a good or a bad way?"

"Good off course,you are more gorgeous then the last time I saw you." Max reached for my hand and pulled me closer to him behind the tree. He caressed my cheek and brushed his thumb over my lower lip.

"I missed this." He said leaning closer to my face,our lips meet.

Kissing him again brought memories,good and bad.

"Can you help me again?" I said braking the kiss.

"Depends what you need?"

"Tell me where the base is?" Max chuckle's and swings his head side to side.

"I can't tell you that,but I can tell you one thing." He got me curious.

"Ok."

"Hoon is going to send him after you,be careful." Max said with a concern in his voice,I knew that day will come sooner or later.

"I bet he will, don't worry I will manage him... somehow..."

"You need to leave,your boys will be looking for you." Max said and he was right,Taehyung and others will come looking for me.

"I need your blood...like old times right?" I smiled while Max gave me his hand,I pulled out my knife and cut his palm. I smeared his blood over me to mask his smell on me.

"See you girl." Max said to me and we went our separate ways.

I walked over to the boy's,they where pretty far away. Look on Taehyung's face when he saw me had concern all over it.

"Where have you been?" Taehyung asked me,he noticed blood on me.

"I'm fine,I just took one down."

"Vampire?" Other guy asked me.

"Yeah...he was alone." I answered,they all nodded their heads believing in my lie.

"I think we covered enough ground today." Taehyung said,we all agreed with him and went back to our city.

Yoongi POV;

Jimin was sitting behind his computer typing on a keyboard,time to time I would look away from the screen and glance at his fingers working fast, typing like crazy,it amazes me how he does that. Well he is our tech guy but still...

"Is this how much they covered today?" I asked Jimin pointing at the screen with a finger.

"Yes..." He said and carried on with his work.

"It's not much." I commented looking at a small red wiggly dot on the map.

"Well,when you look it like that,it really looks small but they searched about 20 kilometers." Jimin explained to me,he leaned back and gave his fingers a rest.

"Wait,if this is 20 kilometers,how much is this then?" I showed him again pointing out the area that wasn't yet searched. Jimin sighed and took a better look at the map.

"About 200 kilometers,more or less."

I raised my eyebrows at his answer,it shocked me how big the area is.

"You got to be kidding me." I said in disbelief.

"It's big I know." Jimin shrugged looking up at me.

"f**k,I thought we will find him faster,this will take weeks." I felt disappointed,not at Jimin or the search team, it's just I wanted to kill Hoon,I just never figured it will take this much time.

"I know but for now it's the best we can do." Jimin said and went typing again.

I stayed silent for few moments occupied with my thoughts,when Jimin got a call.

He mumbled something in the phone,I wasn't paying much attention,but I noticed that he got all nervous after he finished.

"Who was that on the phone?" I asked Jimin,he coughed.

"Mhm...Hoseok."

"You two guys spend a lot of time together, you're closer then ever." I had a weird feeling about those two but couldn't put my finger on it what it is.

"So? You and Taehyung are close to and you don't see me asking about it."

Jimin snapped at me,that took me by a surprise.

"Fair enough." He had a point,I think everyone noticed that me and Tae are close,closer then ever and that is thanks to Alex. If it wasn't for her me and Tae would still be hardheaded idiots.

Autor POV;

After Max saw Alex in the woods he went straight to Hoon to inform him. Even if he cared for Alex he was still a vampire and Hoon was his leader.

"Sir,I have some interesting information." Max said entering the hall. Hoon was sitting in his throne like a king,king that he named him self. No one dared to say anything about it,they all were terrified of him. He took that advantage.

"Yes, speak..." Hoon said to Max who was bowing down in front of him.

"I saw Alex in the woods few kilometers from here. It looks like they are searching for our base." Max said standing up. Hoon smiled at Max and then frowned.

"Why didn't you bring her here? Are you afraid of her?" Hoon looked down on Max.

"No Sir,she wasn't alone...if they killed me I couldn't inform you about their whereabouts." Max answers praying to himself that Hoon doesn't order to kill him. He knows that he will die for the betrayal when Hoon finds out how Alex escaped.

"Leave,send me Nico..." Hoon said watching Max under his eyebrows,he wasn't happy with Max and his lack of attempt to capture Alex. In Hoon's head Max should've risk dieing for Alex's capture. But he didn't even try.

Max left feeling relief,Hoon didn't kill him.

"Nico,Hoon needs to see you right away." Max said to Nico who was standing outside in front of the Hall.

Nico didn't say anything,he nodded his head and went straight in.

"Yes,Sir you needed to see me."

"Max said that Alex is near here,they are searching the area, trying to find us."

"Hm...your attacks had an effect." Nico comments then continues. "What's our next move, should we send him?"

"Soon,make preparations." Hoon answers,Nico nodded his head and was ready to leave.

"And Niko,have a close eye on Max." Hoon added before Nico left. Nico didn't question about why,he didn't have to nor wanted to. What Hoon said it had to be done.

Alex POV;

I searched for little peace and quiet,one place I could think about was the balcony in Taehyung's house. He was out meeting with Jimin,Yoongi and Jin.

I sit down on a wooden bench,sun was warming my skin,wind played with my hair,I started staring at nothing.

Max...the guy that saved me from Hoon.

At first he was just another Vampire that I hated. He tortured me, experimented on me, humiliated me,he did all those bad things to me and more. Then something changed,Max started to care for me time to time and I used that to my advantage. I seduced him and it worked like a charm. One thing I didn't count on was that I started liking him,I don't love him,but I care for him. I will always be thankful for his help.

Now I have two men by my side,both I love so much and the thought of that someday I will have to choose between them makes my heart hurt. I can't choose and I don't want to.

When I found out that Yoongi was a King it shocked me,now I don't think much about that. He refused to be a King and I respect his choice,but I don't think he understands that he can't do that.

And Taehyung...I love that men and every aspect of him. Sometimes I feel like obsessed with him. He is the first one that stole my heart, thinking back when I punched his face for touching me brings smile to my face. Speaking of the devil...

"Daydreaming?" Taehyung asked me sitting down next to me.

"Kind of... weren't you supposed to be with the guys?" I asked him resting my head on my arm on a table.

"I was for a bit,then it got boring..." He moved strains of hair that were in front of his eyes.

"So you came home thinking that I'm more fun then your friends?" I asked him,he shrugged his shoulders.

"No..."

"Taehyung!" I smacked his arm making him giggle.

"I was just kidding, I'm a good boy." I laughed at his statement.

"Why are you laughing so much?" He seemed surprised by my reaction,I tried to pull my self together.

"You are far from a good boy,I saw you kill and we are not gonna talk about sex."

"But you like it, right?" Taehyung wiggle his eyebrows indicating how good s*x with him is. I smirked and sighed.

"It's fine." I said trying my best not to burst out laughing.

"HEY!" Taehyung jelled and started tickling me,I hated that so much I was fighting him off but my laughing made that impossible.

After our tickle fight I somehow ended up in his lap, exchanging soft kisses.

Our make out session lasted long,we just kissed and cuddle each other,that was just what I needed.

"I have to go,my shift starts in half hour." Taehyung said,I pouted making him smile.

"Be safe Tae." I said moving from his lap,he leaned and pecked my lips.

"I will, don't worry."

At that moment Yoongi showed up before Taehyung left.

"What's with the face?" Yoongi asked me looking at my pouted lips.

"She wanted to cuddle more but I need to go to work." Taehyung said to Yoongi.

"I'm here now." Yoongi said happily,Taehyung rubbed Yoongi's shoulder glancing at him head to toe.

"Yeah,you don't seem like a cuddly type."

"I won't say a word." I added with a smirk. Yoongi approached me and sits next to me.

"I gotta go,see you in the morning." We said our goodbyes. Now me and Yoongi where left alone.

"Come on cuddle with me." He said moving closer to me, wrapping his arms around me.

" You know we can't cuddle." I said moving onto his lap, resting my head on his shoulder.

"We can try..." He said and started gently rubbing my thigh.

My hand was on another side of his neck,my fingers played with ends of his hair. We stayed like that for few moments, quiet and just cuddling.

Tips of my fingertips moved against his soft skin on the back of his neck,tingles run over me,I leaned closer and pressed my lips on his warm skin,his hand on my thigh gave me a light squeeze.

My lips parted letting the tip of my tongue taste his sweet skin.

I couldn't help myself, s****l tension between us was unbearable.

"I told you we can't cuddle..." I whisper under his ear,Yoongi chuckle's.

"At least we tried..."
