Chapter 2

"We've arrived, Miss," said the driver as he bowed after opening the car door. "Thank you," Jenny replied. She had just shifted her body to get out, but suddenly remembered the lesson Sofia had taught her. "As a guest invited by the groom, it is the groom who should greet you when you step out of the car. Never step out unless he offers his hand to you," Sofia's voice echoed in her mind. Jenny sat back down, gripping the bouquet in her hands tighter. "Alright, I'll wait. He will come here, right?" she murmured. "Miss, aren’t you getting out?" the driver asked. "I’ll get out with Mr. William," Jenny responded. "Alright then. I’ll excuse myself." The driver took the suitcase and walked toward his employer, who was already standing at the door. Meanwhile, William grew increasingly puzzled when he saw the woman still sitting arrogantly in the car. "What is she doing? Why isn’t she getting out?" he thought, bewildered. The driver approached and saluted. "Good evening, Sir." "Good evening, Carl," William replied. "By the way, why isn’t she getting out?" he asked curiously. "Oh, Miss said she would get out with you, Sir," Carl answered. "What? Are you serious? So, she wants to be greeted by me?" William asked again. Carl felt uncomfortable but nodded, then stepped back. William glared at the car, a grimace of annoyance forming on his face. "Goodness... This is really troublesome," he muttered. Meanwhile, inside the car, Jenny stared at William through the glass window with a troubled expression. "Is he going to come here and pick me up?" she thought, confused. Should she give in? She looked down, tightening her grip on her wedding dress. When she looked at the door again, her eyes widened in tension. Unexpectedly, the man who was supposedly a killing machine, the cruel and merciless one, extended his hand to her. "Welcome to my mansion," he said, his voice forced. Seeing William’s response, Jenny finally got out of the car and took the man’s hand. "Thank you for the welcome," she said awkwardly. She tried not to panic and tremble as she noticed the man’s muscular hand beneath his sleeve. At that moment, William was taken aback as he looked at Sofia. "Is she really this tall? She’s actually shorter than I thought. I felt like when we met at Aaron’s company party, she was almost as tall as me. Could it be because of her shoes?" William wondered. Remembering the party, William sighed deeply. Because of his careless words while drunk at that event, he now had to give up his bachelorhood. "Get married quickly, Willie. I want to have a child," Aaron had said back then. "Stop saying that. You've said it a thousand times. If you want a child, you marry and have one yourself," William had retorted sharply. "I'm not ready. How could I pass on marrying you? You should be the one to marry first. Marry quickly, Willie, please. After you, then me." William sighed. He glanced at Sofia, not far from him. Among other wealthy women, only she had such high standards as a conglomerate’s daughter. "Well, if the woman is like her, maybe I would marry," he muttered. William sighed again. He never expected that his careless words would lead to a forced marriage like this. The flashback filled his mind, cornering him with regret and confusion. "What should I do now? I thought Aaron wouldn’t do anything because I heard the girl would be hard to get, but after becoming the ruler of this industrial area, everything became so easy," William thought. He felt an indescribable frustration, but he had to accept the consequences of his careless words. He looked at Sofia, who was tightly holding his arm, following his steps. "What’s more surprising is this woman. I didn’t expect her to actually come to meet me. I thought she would run away and reject this marriage, but it seems not. You really want to help your father, don’t you?" William looked ahead. "What I know is, this is a direct order from Aaron to Mr. James. Sofia probably can't do anything to smooth over their family business. Aaron, after becoming the ruler of the industry in this area, you’re freely pressuring everyone," he thought with a resentful smirk. Once they reached the second floor, William began speaking to Jenny. "Since the wedding will be held tomorrow, you should take a bath first. You must be tired. And you should come dressed more comfortably; why wear such a heavy and troublesome gown?" Jenny, who was wearing her wedding dress and a head covering that hid her face, turned to him with a mixed expression. "A bath?" she asked, a little confused. William nodded. "Yes. The servants have prepared warm water. The room to your left is yours, and since you already know, rest. I will leave now." William released Jenny's hand and walked away, leaving her alone. Jenny, staring at his retreating back, seemed confused that he had left her so suddenly, but on the other hand, she felt relieved. "Phew. Thank goodness he left," she muttered. Jenny entered the room William had provided. She looked around the spacious and luxurious room, though there was nothing in it except for a large bed with scattered red rose petals and a transparent bathroom right next to the bed. It felt like the room was meant for something more intimate. "Oh my God, what am I thinking? Get rid of these dirty thoughts," Jenny said, waving her hand repeatedly in the air as if trying to brush something off. Jenny walked toward the bath filled with petals. "A bath, huh? Should I take a bath? Or should I just sleep without dinner?" she muttered, weighing her options. Meanwhile, at the same time, in another room, William lay on the bed with his arms behind his head. His mind wandered to Sofia, a woman who had left a strong impression on him. "Such a strange scent," he thought, trying to recall the aroma he had just sensed. "After years of smelling blood and being busy with work, I’ve forgotten what a woman's scent is like." William closed his eyes, trying to push away the sudden memory of Sofia. However, he could still see her clearly in his mind. With her face still covered by a thick bridal veil, the woman approached and placed her hand on his chest, attempting to unbutton his shirt. William managed to hold back each time her delicate fingers brushed against his flat stomach. But then, she touched something she shouldn't have while gently kissing his lips. "Damn it," William muttered. He opened his eyes, his expression changing. His previously calm gaze now appeared sharp, as if stirred by something burning inside him. He got up from the bed and left, unsure of where he was going. The sound of the door opening made Jenny jump in surprise. She had just been about to remove her wedding dress to take a bath, but now she froze. Gripping the almost undone dress tightly, she stared at William with tense eyes. She realized she hadn’t locked the door and that he was now approaching the bath. "Are you just going to stand there?" William asked, closing the door behind him. Here is the translation with proper grammar and effective English: "Y-You! Are you just going to stand there? You need to leave!" Jenny ordered, panicking. She was confused about what to do. When she looked into William's eyes, she noticed something had changed. The man who had seemed indifferent earlier had now transformed into someone who appeared interested in her. "I'm sorry, but you probably know that I come from the streets, a lowly man who suddenly became a conglomerate. I'm a rude, disrespectful man with no manners, and I don’t intend to leave," William said as he stepped closer to Jenny. "So, be quiet and slowly take off your clothes." Jenny tensed. Her hands were shaking. She was scared and reluctant to give her purity to anyone else, but she realized she had been sent to this house to become a wife, and she had to be brave enough to let go of herself. However, there should still be time for her heart to prepare. "The... the wedding is tomorrow, right? C-Can’t you wait one more day?" Jenny stammered, her fear evident. "No matter whether you’re from the streets or whatever, the important thing now is that you are a CEO. You're an honorable man now." Jenny didn’t understand why this man had changed like this. She tried to negotiate. "I... I want to have our first night together after the wedding. Please, behave!" Upon hearing this, William smirked and then laughed. He stepped closer to Jenny again. "You’re funny, Miss. Whether we do it today or tomorrow, what's the difference? So stop being stubborn." William took one of Jenny’s hands. "Take off your clothes." "No! Not now, please!" Jenny screamed, struggling. She closed her eyes in fear, unwilling to do it today. "Come on, Sofia, it’s the same." "No! It’s different! I don’t want to now!" Jenny struggled. "Do you know? The first time I saw you at Aaron's company party, I honestly thought you were very beautiful. I also thought your body was stunning. I’ve been looking forward to this, even though I didn’t dare to say it directly. So, do it now, before I force you," William continued to pressure Jenny to come closer to him. Meanwhile, Jenny, holding her ground, was wide-eyed in disbelief. "What did he say? He saw me at the party? Could it be... William already knows Sofia’s face? Hah! What now? What if he finds out? Will I be dead?" she thought, anxious. Jenny was troubled. She didn’t know what to do. Although she remembered Sofia’s message before leaving, she wasn’t sure if this man would forgive her. "Should I... tell the truth?" she wondered in her mind while William continued pulling her. Before he could do anything, she decided to act. "I... I’m not Sofia!" she screamed. Here is the translation with proper grammar and effective language: William paused for a moment. "What?" He pulled off the head covering, and long, reddish-brown hair cascaded into the air. Her slightly chubby, oval face, with a sharp nose and full lips, was now clearly visible to him. She looked very different from Sofia, who had a thinner face and thin lips. "Ah, so it's true. You're not Sofia," William said, clearly surprised. "Then who are you?" He looked into her eyes, eyes that seemed familiar, but he couldn't place where he had seen them before. "I-I’m Jenny. Jenny. The illegitimate daughter of the James family," Jenny said quietly, watching William's reaction. Sure enough, he fell silent, looking curious. "I... I never meant to deceive you, but... due to Sofia’s severe illness, I had no choice but to replace her," she lied again. For a moment, William was still stunned, but then he clicked his tongue. "No intention to deceive me? But you're wearing a wedding dress and a head covering like this? You say you're not deceiving me? Hah, unbelievable! Hiding your face behind that veil isn’t deception?!" He sneered in frustration. How dare the James family treat him like this. "I-I'm sorry. I just... want my father's business to be okay. Please, accept me. Sofia can't do it because she's sick," Jenny tried to convince him. "Sick, you say? Hah! Alright. I’ll give you credit for your noble sacrifice, but..." William grabbed Jenny's jaw. "That was a terrible choice, Jenny," he said with a sharp look, his hand moving to her neck as if to choke her. "You must know the rumors about me. Aren’t you afraid?" Jenny swallowed hard. "To me, those are meaningless rumors, because there was no other choice," she said calmly. Again, William was surprised. "This woman... even in a situation like this, she remains calm. Is she ready to face the consequences? After all, I have a bad reputation. What if I kill her?" he thought. "Yes, honestly, a street kid like me getting a woman from a conglomerate family is absurd," William said. "I’d probably be better suited to someone like you, an illegitimate child. Honestly, I prefer your appearance over Sofia's. You... you're quite something," he teased. Hearing this, Jenny bit her lip, her face turning red from embarrassment. "I’m more attractive than Sofia?" she thought. Lost in her thoughts, William pulled her chin. "Are you still a virgin?" William asked. "I-I... if I am a virgin, would you accept me?" Jenny asked in return, her gaze sharp. "Accept you? As my wife? Or as a toy in my bed?" William grinned. "Both!" Jenny said firmly. "If possible, I want to live. In this world, I’m more afraid of dying than anything else. So answer me! If I’m still a virgin, will you accept me or kill me?!" she shouted, her gaze fiery and intense. William lowered his hand. He looked serious. This was the first time a girl had dared to speak so confidently and loudly like Jenny. "I don’t like the way you speak," he said, but then he grinned mischievously. He pulled Jenny into an embrace. Jenny screamed, but could only submit as the strong arms of the man wrapped tightly around her waist. "I-I'm sorry, but I really need an answer from you." "If you want to live, shouldn’t you beg me?" William asked. Jenny swallowed, her throat dry. The man was truly strong, and even his sharp gaze was enough to make her terrified beyond belief. "I beg you... don't kill me, let me live." "But rather than killing you, wouldn’t it be better to enjoy you?" William moved closer, brushing his lips against Jenny's. Fearful, but unable to resist, Jenny accepted. Deep inside, she made a promise to herself. She would survive and take revenge on everyone. Those who hurt her would get their due. "Damn, this is addicting," William thought. Unable to resist, like a hungry tiger, he attacked Jenny. And... Rrip! He tore her clothes, savoring every inch of her body.
