I arrive at the Red Moon pack the next day. There is practically chaos everywhere. I feel a faint smell of cinnamon, vanilla and strawberries mixed with blood and violence, but I honestly think nothing much of it. Lucifer stirs a little, but none of us understand why I react to the scent.
I find the guest cabin, and the smell I felt at the packhouse is stronger here. More potent. My mouth salivates from the scent, and I feel myself needing someone to sink my c**k into. I grab my bag from the car and move it into the cabin, unpacking and go on the lookout for easy mutts.

I still have to go to school, but David drives me and picks me up, so I don't have to walk alone anymore. He has promised me a car, so I will never have to experience anything like what happened again. "Kiddo! We're going to be late if you don't come now!" David yells up the stairs, and I finish putting my hair up and run down. "All done." David's eyebrows shoot up in surprise when I'm able to actually sprint down the stairs. "Someone's feeling better." He smiles, and I nod. "Much better. It still hurts, but not as bad as it did." I shrug and grab my new book back and head for the car. The silver BMW roars to life, and soon we're driving the ten minutes it takes to school. I sigh, and grimace. I really don1' want to do this... Go to school and get bullied... It's like I'm an alien to them... Like I'm a freak. I grab my bag and step out, determined not to show anything. I get into the building with no fuzz, and surprisingly they let me go to my locker. The energy is different today. People are mumbling and pointing at me, and I start feeling cold. I don't like this kind of attention.
I open my locker, and that's when I see it... Picture upon picture of me being raped by the wolves. The color fades from my face, and I grab the pictures and run out of the building, bursting into tears when I see that David is still outside. I toss the pictures in his lap, and beg him to take me home. Tears are falling down my face. I'm so humiliated over the entire situation. David starts the engine again with a roar, and speeds back to the cabin, drops me off and drive straight for the main house.

I hear some guy practically scream at the Alpha of Red Moon to take action about some attack that happened on his stepdaughter. The Alpha tries explaining wolf law to the man, who is clearly a wolf himself, and he shouts out: "She's a 16-year-old human girl, Peter! You know that! I was supposed to protect her, but she was attacked by your daughter's boyfriend, and I have proof. Someone took pictures of the attack and hung them up in her locker, for crying out loud!" I hear some mumbling before the Alpha backs down, much to my surprise. "Very well, David. There will be consequences for their actions. You have my word." I furrow a brow. In my pack, he would've been killed for defying his Alpha. But human girl? In a village full of werewolves? How did that happen? He said stepdaughter, so maybe his mate is human. I keep walking, lost in a train of thoughts as I go searching for someone to play with. I find a young girl, blonde, cute, and in heat. I smile, start a conversation and, of course, end up f*****g her. I realize that this is Alpha's daughter, so just to stir something up, I decide to knot her. I clamp her mouth shut so she won't scream when my impossibly large knot slips inside her and I pour myself into her. Every knotting during the heat will lead to pregnancy, and I see by the tears in her eyes that she had just realized the same thing. I grin, knowing I'm the reason for her soon enough, growing baby bump. I kiss her and start moving again, still attached to her, and her moans echo through the room. When my knot shrinks, I pull out of her, grin wide and leave, knowing she will have trouble explaining this away, and also knowing that she can't use my name, because no one will believe her.
The next few days are beaming with life. I heard that the human girl had dropped out of school for a while, and I grin, knowing that the pregnant Alpha's daughter would soon gain more attention than they had ever given the human. I can't explain it, but I feel protective of her. I have never even seen her, so I don't understand why I try so hard to keep her safe.
It's the day of the gala, and I just finished my outfit. I step into the ballroom and grab a glass of champagne from a waitress moving past me. I give her a dangerous smile, making her smile falter a little. She knows I just sought her out, and that I want her by the end of the night. I mingle and talk to other Alpha's, talking about treaties and such. I grab another glass of champagne from the same waitress and turn my attention back to my father when my entire focus shift. The intoxicating scent of cinnamon, vanilla and strawberries hit my nose like a freight train, and I turn around, trying to find the source of the smell. She-wolves smile when I pass them, but all they smell like are too much perfume and desperation. I look around, smelling the air, and then I find her. The reason I feel so overprotective. She stand with a woman, her mother maybe?, looking so innocent and beautiful. Her midnight blue dress clings to her figure, and there are diamonds flowing around the heart-shaped hem of the dress and then diagonal down the rest of the dress towards the floor. Her black hair is pinned neatly to the side with a diamond hairpiece. My champagne glass falls to the ground, and everyone in the room stops talking, like everyone is holding their breaths. My eyes lock with hers, and all I want is to protect her with my life.
