Chapter 4: Stolen Heat

My pulse raced. The air felt thick again, just like in the library. His eyes dropped for a second to my chest, where the buttons still strained a bit, then back to my face. “You okay, Betty? Looked like the whole class noticed.” I swallowed hard, adjusting my glasses. “It was an accident. Stupid blouse. Everyone was staring… even Professor Hale said something. I just wanted to fix it and disappear.” Victor leaned against the sink, arms crossed, but his body blocked the door. “They weren’t wrong to look. You’re hard to ignore.” His voice had that low edge again, the one that made my stomach flip. “But I didn’t like how some of those guys were gawking. Like they had any right.” We stood there in the small restroom, the faint smell of soap and paper towels around us. Campus noise filtered in faintly from the hallway, footsteps, distant voices from the lecture hall. I could hear my own breathing. “What are you doing here anyway?” I asked, trying to sound steady. “Shouldn’t you be at practice or something? You shouldn’t be here, this is the women’s restroom.” He shrugged, but his eyes stayed intense. “I had a free period. Saw you rushing out and followed. Figured we could talk about our next study session. Or… whatever that was in the library the other night and I don’t care whose gender this restroom belongs to.” My mind flashed back to his hand brushing my thigh, that question about the books coming to life. I wasn’t ready to rush anything, but standing this close, with him looking at me like that, made my skin tingle. “It was nothing,” I said softly. “Just the project.” Victor stepped a little closer, his hand lightly touching my arm. Then higher, tracing my shoulder. “Doesn’t feel like nothing. You felt it too, didn’t you? The way we click when we argue about those stories.” I hesitated, my back against the cool tile wall. My heart hammered so loud I wondered if he could hear it. Part of me wanted to push him away and run back to class. But another part, the one that stayed up at night thinking about his voice, kept me rooted there. “Victor, this is crazy. We barely know each other. One project doesn’t mean…” “Doesn’t mean what?” he cut in, his fingers still on my shoulder, warm through my blouse. “That you don’t feel it when we talk? Come on, Betty. You’re brilliant with all those books, but you act like you don’t see how you affect people. How you affect me.” His words hung between us. I looked up at him, adjusting my glasses again out of habit. “I’m just the quiet girl who wears short skirts and deals with stupid wardrobe malfunctions. You’re the rugby captain everyone watches. We don’t fit.” He smiled, that cocky grin softening at the edges. “Maybe that’s why it works. You challenge me. Most girls just laugh at my jokes and don’t push back. You call me out when I’m being arrogant. It’s different and real.” I laughed softly, nerves mixing with something warmer. Victor teased, stepping even nearer. Our bodies almost touched now. I could feel the heat coming off him, smell the faint scent of his soap from a morning shower mixed with the fresh grass from outside. “Yeah, like you,” I whispered. My big breasts rose with each breath, brushing lightly against his chest. The contact sent sparks through me. His eyes darkened again, dropping to my lips, then lower for a moment before coming back up. “Betty,” he murmured, voice rough. “Tell me to stop and I will.” I didn’t say stop. Instead, I reached up and touched his jaw, feeling the slight stubble there. That was all it took. He pulled me in. Our bodies pressed together in the tight space. His lips found mine, firm and sure, like he’d been holding back for days. I kissed him back, hands gripping his hoodie. Heat flooded through me as his fingers slid down my side, brushing the open buttons on my blouse. The kiss started slow, exploring, but quickly grew deeper. His tongue teased mine, and I let out a small sound against his mouth. One of his hands cupped my breast through the fabric, gentle at first, then firmer as I arched into him. My n*****s tightened under his touch, sending waves of pleasure straight down. I gasped, breaking the kiss for air, but he followed my lips again, hungrier now. “God, you feel good,” he whispered against my neck, kissing along the sensitive skin there. His other hand moved to my thigh, sliding up under my short skirt, fingers grazing bare skin. The roughness of his palm against my smooth leg made me shiver. I wanted him closer, wanted to forget we were in a public restroom where anyone could knock. “Victor,” I breathed, my hands sliding under his hoodie to feel the hard muscles of his back. We were losing control, but in the best way. The slow chemistry we’d built through banter and late nights had turned into this fire. He lifted me slightly onto the sink edge, my legs parting as he stepped between them. The cool porcelain contrasted with the heat of his body. His hardness pressed against me through his pants, and I rocked instinctively, chasing the friction. His fingers hooked into the waistband of my panties, ready to pull them aside. I trembled, whispering his name again, lost in the moment. My blouse hung open wider now, my big breasts fully exposed to his gaze and touch. He looked at me like I was the only thing that mattered, his free hand kneading and teasing while his mouth claimed mine once more. Just as his fingers brushed my most sensitive spot, ready to go further, a loud knock rattled the door. “Hello? Betty Thompson are you in there? Come out right now!” We froze. My heart jumped into my throat. Victor pulled back, eyes wide but still dark with want. The girl outside kept banging. “I know you’re hiding in there, you attention-seeking b***h! Flashing your t**s in class to steal my boyfriend’s eyes? Come out!” She had no idea Victor was with me. The jealous edge in her voice cut through the thick air. We quickly straightened our clothes, me buttoning up fast with shaky fingers, him adjusting his hoodie and stepping back. The moment shattered, but the heat between us lingered like smoke. My body still throbbed with unfinished need, my lips swollen from his kisses, my skin flushed everywhere he’d touched. Victor put a finger to his lips, signaling me to stay quiet. We waited, breaths still coming fast. The girl outside muttered more curses, calling me names and complaining about how I’d distracted her boyfriend during the lecture. She had no clue how close we’d come to getting caught in something much worse.
