"Hi Scott."
"David, I was hoping you'd call. How'd it go?" He raised the bed with his left hand, with the phone in his right. He was glad he was alone.
"Good. Before we get into that, I just wanted to say congratulations."
"Thank you. It's been way too long in coming. Thank you for being my best man. It meant a lot." Scott smiled as he thought of Delilah's delight at his surprise. He truly wished he'd done it long ago.
"What's up? I can tell by your tone it's not something good."
"We have a problem. I think we're mostly prepared for the one but not sure about the other."
"Oh? What happened?" Scott clutched the cell in his hand and tried to shift his body slightly, the effort left him breathless. When there was no answer, he was concerned he'd accidentally hung up. "David?
