Since all Joan did every time she approached her was run, Andi decided to be a bit more clandestine about it.
She saw a flash of light in Joan's back window, which was a good sign she was home. "Pull up around that corner and park."
Once Marc had parked, she got out. He followed her. "What are we doing?"
"It's time we talk to Joan. She's watching Mom's house. And since she's not who I thought she was, maybe it's time to ask her some questions."
Pulling out her phone, she realized it was almost 11:00 p.m. If she hadn't seen the light on at Joan's, she wouldn't be doing this but things had changed. Crossing the street, she made sure she was on the far side and would hopefully be able to come up behind Joan's house without her seeing her. That was if she wasn't watching. But A
