Chapter 48
"Dammit, he's not here." Andi let herself and Marc into Tim's apartment. Someone had been coming out as they were going in. And Tim had a key hidden under the mat in front of his door. Few would have found it as he had peeled back the rubber bottom and then put the key between the layers. She had taken a chance he was still doing that old trick.
As she and Marc entered, her first thought was that she needed to apologize for how messy it was, but her gaze immediately zeroed in on his table. It was empty.
