Chapter 9 "Marcy." She rolled her head sideways but couldn't quite force her eyes open. A gentle touch stroking her hair brought her around. A smile lit up her face. She knew that touch. Had craved that touch since she was a teenager. "Marcy?" "Hmm?" "I love you." "I know." She reached up and grabbed his hand. The ring on her ring finger twinkled in the natural light from the window. She couldn't help but smile. "And it's Delilah." "You'll always be Marcy to me. And, at this point, I don't care who knows. They can't hurt us now." He rubbed his thumb over their clasped hands. She'd wished she'd known what he'd planned so she could have put a ring on his finger as well. In her heart, they had always been married, but she didn't know it would mean so much to her to actually be married
