Chapter 53
"Joan. Hi, it's Andi. Call me. Now. I really need to talk to you. Before the party."
Andi shook her head. Both she and Marc had left multiple messages for Joan. She hadn't answered any of them. Andi knew she was busy getting ready for the event and had a lot on her shoulders. More than she knew.
She brushed her hands down her dress, climbed into her car, and drove to the mansion. Marc had gone back to his suite at the mansion, in the hopes of catching Joan.
Andi arrived at 5:30 p.m. She had missed the afternoon session she was supposed to do, so she hoped if she showed up a bit early to the soiree, she could take some before pictures, but Mr. Gorman hadn't shown up yet. She'd really screwed this up. Hopefully it wasn't the death of her career.
