Ella's Pov
Woke up after feeling something move in my hand , Who is this ? , his face was facing down on the bed, covered my upper region with my duvea before checking who this stranger was , wait this is Eros , I recognized the black hibiscus flower on his neck. Why is he in My room sleeping? all I can remember was him asking Thomas ‘ You've got her right?’ before passing out.
‘Hey Eros I think it's time you left , go away to your room ’ I said while tapping him repeatedly, his arm's were study and refined.
‘Okay' he said without raising his head up at first ,He raised his left hand and placed it on his hair , running through it before raising his head to look at me. His grey eyes met mine , locked in an unknown conversation for minutes which felt awkward before he broke it with ‘ Looks like you are back, okay gatta go downstairs,see you later’ , He stood up stretched his body before walking out of the room.
What did he mean by that? where is my phone? I checked my pocket to find my phone jeezz it's 8:56 pm already, don't tell me I slept all day OMG. I jumped down my bed , sprinting out of my door heading downstairs, Hey where did everyone go I clearly heard voices down here.
‘ Thomas be careful it's pretty heavy itself, need some help ? ’.
‘ Ney am all good thanks’ Thomas replied. Oh they are outside.
Opened the door that led outside only to see them off- loading different things , livestock's the next sea animals. ‘ What's going on here , can someone please tell me where all this came from ’ I asked
‘ Ma'm you are awake thank goodness I was worried’ Shouted Ashely after she heard my voice.
‘Worried about what? , you still haven't answered my question you know , where did all this come from was and still is my question’.
‘ Ehm miss Ella it went like this’ , she started filling me with what happened from the moment I passed out , down to the threat's and how they bought what I see before me.
‘ But this is way too much for testing and development of recipe , what are we going to do with the rest we only need like one tenth of this maybe 2 tenth of we wanna keep some to eat , what are we to do with the rest throw them away? ’ I asked Ashley.
' why don't we just give the farmers or what do you guys think” Eros butted in .
‘ That's not a bad idea’ Linda , Ashely, Thomas, Ann and medley said in support of the idea .
Okay whatever, park the rest inside the container and let's go share them. ‘ Okay ma ’
‘ we keeping part of the ostrich drum stick to taste it, or who here has had it before? ’ Ashely Asked.
‘ Ehm Ashely why are you beaming?, what's so special about the ostrich drum stick, don't you think it's too big for us ? ’ I asked.
‘No it's not I'm thinking maybe we should eat outside here and get to know each other better and eat and drink, drinks on me everyone ’ Ashley said beaming with smiles.
‘Okay Linda, ann, medley you guys can start roasting and cooking, while miss ella and I go get the drinks and Thomas and eris go from the meats with the farmers ’.
The girls got to work while the rest of us entered the minibus and went down the hills. On our way we met a young man on the way and asked for directions to the head of farmers location, after receiving direction eros thanked him and drove in the direction provided.
We got there , went in to see the elderly man who thanked us generously for it hoping we would stay so he could do some introductions to other farmer but we had to break it down to him that we had some where to. be at.
‘ To bad , feel free to ask for anything within our powers and we'll do our best to help you out.
‘ You guys wait here we'll go in and get the drinks ’ I told them before walking up to lessen the distance between Ashley and I.
