Vanessa’s POV. The following day. The room felt too quiet without Ronan. He had left not long ago, saying he needed to get some things for me. Clothes, food, whatever. He didn’t tell me exactly where he was going, but he assured me he wouldn’t take long. The way he looked at me before leaving…like he actually gave a damn…was unsettling.
