CORBYN’S POV
Torren won the talent show.
The funny part is he wasn’t even supposed to be participating. He was simply standing in for Justin. Justin met with an unfortunate accident on his way to his school and couldn’t make it. He somehow tripped on the steps of his back door and sprained his ankle and fractured his arm. Guess it was the excitement or something.
Justin and Kyle were convinced that he was the real deal and were very surprised that his victory wasn’t even planned. But I’m sure none of us were as shocked as the man himself.
The prom dance followed. Jake ended up being Zara’s date and they seemed to be giving. For her sake I hoped it worked out, Jake was a good guy. I ended up taking Terrel since Justin was indisposed.
We walked in the door and took in the crowded party.
