Saved By The Blue

CORBYN'S POV The first bell rang and I rushed down the corridor towards my Geometry class. For some reason, my alarm didn't go off like it was supposed-so now I'm late for my first lesson. As I turned the corner I collided with none other than the Queen of Seduction herself. As a replay of the episode of Levi Matthews Got Played unraveled, only this time I had the leading role, I couldn't help but laugh as I helped Blue recover her books from the floor. "What's so funny?" she smiles at me, a crooked half-smile that makes my heart seize in my chest. "Nothing-I-" All the words I meant to say trapping themselves in my throat at once. I grappled around my brain for an explanation, because there was no way I was going to tell her the truth. "My alarm didn't go off and I was rushing to class-now-uh-now I'm late, either way." I handed her the pile of books and shrugged my shoulders slightly. "Oh," she creased her brow. "I'm sorry, that's totally my fault," he put her smooth well, manicured hand on her chest, "I shouldn't have been texting and walking." "No, it's on me. I should have been more aware of my surroundings." We were silent for a time, bashfully glancing at each other. The way she stared into my eyes, it felt like she could see right through me. I can't even imagine how intense that look must be when- "You're in my class right?" She finally asked. "Yeah, I am..." I answered as I scratched the back of my head, thinking to myself that Levi was a legend. How did he manage not to pass out while talking to her?? Because, I was close, believe me when I say I was close to just crumbling onto the floor in a useless heap of skin and bones. Most of my nerve endings feel like they're on fire, and my stomach is set to churn itself right out of my body. If I could melt into the floor right now and disappear, I would. She's dressed in her signature black leather jacket, a tight white vest, that accentuates her ample cleavage and blue-ripped jeans that cling to every curve on her body. Her fragrance reminded me of my happy place; you know, like green meadows, daisy, and stuff. It rifted in the air, teasing and tantalizing my senses. I doubt that she is real. There's no way a girl exists with a body this perfect. Not to mention her face—the high cheekbones, the perfect mouth below her soft blue eyes and her small pointy nose. She's just perfect. Too perfect. "So let's get going?" She breaks into stifled laughter. "We're late remember..?" she chuckled softly, the sound was like the sound of an angel singing. "Uh-what?" Earth to Corbyn I berated myself. My cheeks flare bright red yet again. "Yeah..late. So, so late," I let out a skittish laugh and fall into step beside her, heading towards the classroom. Clearly I am sleep deprived. It's the only explanation for the way I'm reacting to her presence. As we neared our class, Levi lounged against the wall, his bag slung over one arm, his hands in his pockets, obviously waiting for her. His face brightened when he saw her. He pushed himself up, still eying her, totally shameless about it. "Good morning gorgeous..." He trapped her between his towering, muscular biceps. "Hey, handsome...miss me?" she angled herself towards him, biting her lip. "You bet your pretty behind I did..." He lifted one hand to trail it up her arm, tracing all the way from her waist up to her shoulder. "Prove it..." she whispered. My mouth dropped open as I watched them and my face could have started a small forest fire right now. Seeing as I was eighteen I'd never been kissed, my virgin eyes were tainted. His gaze dipped over her body again as he enfolded her in his huge arms, nuzzling her neck before his lips swooped down on her eager ones. Gosh! Some guys had all the luck. I snuck into class and left them to their tonsil hockey. I doubted very much she would be attending geometry today. "Coleman!" Mr. Travis barked as soon as I entered the class. My classmates burst into laughter as I froze in my tracks and swallowed hard, my hand tightly gripping my backpack. "Sorry, I'm late sir," I squeaked eliciting more laughter, just as Blue burst in through the door, her face flushed. I knew why... "Please forgive him, Mr. Travis. It's all my fault." I looked to her in confusion-why was she making excuses for me? "It's the dumbest thing actually," she laughed as she took my arm, "I was closing my locker then my hair got stuck, she paused and licked her lips, "and-uhmm-he was kind enough to help a damsel in distress..." she made a helpless gesture. Great, she didn't even know my name. "Don't let it happen again, Coleman. You may be seated." I nodded and headed to the back, thinking that even Mr. Travis wasn't susceptible to her charms. "Nice save," Justin snickered as I slid on the chair next to him. "You can thank me later innocent," she winked as she walked past me to sit with her best friend, head of the cheerleading squad, Tarrel Johnson, who was equally hot. With her smooth caramel skin, oval face that shaped big hazel-brown eyes, a gorgeous voluptuous pout... and her legs... Gosh! Don't let me get started on her legs! "Hey!" Justin whispered as he leaned towards me. "Focus.." he smirked. Terrel winked at me and my face heated up again. I hadn't realized I was staring. "You need to be de-flowered!" he laughed. "Your thirst is real man!" "Care to share the joke with the class Harper?" Mr. Travis's voice boomed from the front of the room. "Uhm-no sir," Justin replied as he cleared his throat, facedown. "Thought so." The teacher continued to drone in his monotonous voice about planes, angles, parallel lines, and triangles. Not that anyone was paying attention really...
