THE ENCOUNTER 2

“Your type is not bad, no wonder you have not dated anyone” Jason said sarcastically.
“Stop teasing me, how will I face Mr Ocean now” I replied, looking down?
“Stop pretending you’re a shameless girl”, Stella said, and we all burst into laughter.
After a long day at the fashion magazine, I went home and took my bath and went to the restaurant I normally work. I arrived there and took my apron from my co-worker Ella and took the orders from the customers.
Suddenly, a super handsome guy and his group of boys walk into the restaurant. One of the gang members walked to a table of seven which was already taken. He just stared at the people on the table and they left the table, running out of the restaurant like they had seen a ghost. I wondered who these guys were. Ella wanted to take their order. I pleaded with her and walked to their table.
“Good evening sir, here is our menu, all my favorites are here” I said, smiling endlessly.
“How are you sure? My favourite is here” the handsome guy who I think is the gang leader, muttered
“So what’s your favourite asked so I can add it to the menu” I asked.
“Are you sure you can add it?" He asked.
“Of course, just name anything and our chef will prepare it within a second” i said with a grin.
“I want s*x, can you add that to the menu” he asked, shamelessly, smiling at me and running his eyes over my body.
They all started laughing.
“She is not bad, turn around baby” another gang member said, smiling.
These guys are jerks.
“We can give you food but not s*x”. I try to leave and the gang leader grabs me by the waist and pulls me closer to him. He looked at the person sitting next to him and he stood up from the chair.
“Sit with us and let’s chat” he stated.
“How can I sit with a bunch of strangers and who will take your orders?”
“Don’t tell me you are the only waiter here,” he said rudely,
I got up from the chair.
"And I don’t want to lose my job” I said, trying to leave his presence.
“You are the first girl who has refused our boss to wait till we teach you a lesson" another gang member said with a scary expression.
“Let her go. She is not that beautiful and, besides, I am better looking than her”, the gang leader said.
“Who told you I am not beautiful, is it because I am not wearing my regular clothes or am wearing my job uniform” I replied confidently, looking into his eyes.
“Go away, you are not sexy and stop bothering us” he said in a rude way.
“Who told you I am not sexy” I said as I jumped on top of the table they were sitting at.
“Am I not sexy like this” I said, twisting my waist and tapping my butt
The gangs started laughing
“Wow, such a show for free” a gang member said.
“You are so shameless. Get down from the table, weirdo, I regret the second I befriended you."
" Please," he put his hands together, "leave us in peace. I just want to enjoy my dinner and go home” he replied as he carried me down from the table. I blushed and walked into the kitchen.
“Are you that shameless?" Ella inquired.
“I can be shameless, you know, it's in my blood” I said, smiling endlessly.
“Are you so desperate that you were dancing on top of the table? Just pray that boss doesn’t fire you for that stupid act” Ella said, giving me a serious look.
“Stop overreacting. The boss is not around” i scoffed.
“Have you forgotten he has put CCTV cameras around the restaurant?”
“Oh s**t, I am screwed!” I exclaimed.
“Go and beg the security man to delete your stupid scene before the boss comes back”. Ella suggested.
I ran to the security man. He was laughing the moment I entered.
“I know you have seen the video. Please delete it before the boss comes back” i said.
“Why should I? and besides, it's hilarious” he said and continued laughing.
“Take, please remove it”. I handed him a hundred-dollar bill.
“You should have done that earlier” he said as he took the money from me and pressed a button.
“Done! he exclaimed. I smiled and walked out of the room that was nearby. What I was thinking about doing that I laughed unknowingly.
All the customers were gone, me and Ella tidied up the restaurant and I headed home. I took a cab home.
I arrived at home and saw Annie applying make-up on her face.
“Annie, where is Mum” I asked.
“Oh I forgot to tell you, she has gone back to our hometown.”
“Any message for me?"
“She said you should not forget the marriage and stuff like that,” Annie replied.
“What marriage I don’t like any of the grooms she sent me!” I exclaimed.
“Then tell her that over the phone, but she won’t be the one to choose my husband for me” Annie smiled in a weird way.
“I will choose whoever I like” I replied.
“Who will want to date you, no fashion sense always working”, Annie replied.
“You know I am not working only for myself, I am working for you too!” I replied, rather angry.
“I know sis that’s why you haven’t dated anyone, enough of the pep talk.” Annie stood up to go
“Where the f**k are you going to this late” I asked with a serious look,
“You are not the boss of me and, besides, mum is not around to stop me either. I am going out with Charles”
“Let me guess your new boyfriend?”
“Kinda, how do you know?" she asked.
“Always with a new guy”
“Are you trying to say I am a slut or what?"
“Am not saying you are a slut. It’s how you choose to live your life. I hope you are not going to spend my money on that boyfriend of yours?"
“ He is not really rich, and I am trying to let a guy in your life” she said and i relax on the couch
“There is this guy I met today at our res…………….. Annie is already leaving
“Hey am talking here" I yelled.
