6 "Lucia, are you alright?" a familiar voice asked. I groaned and lifted my hand to my head. "Jonathan?" I asked, my voice croaky and weak. "It's me. Just take it easy." He slipped an arm behind my back and scooped me up. He laid me down on my cot and pulled the blankets up to my chin. My hands grazed against the thin fabric of my shift. Where had my dress gone?
