Chapter Five
The hotel was a typical pre-convention zoo. There were dozens of people that Jennifer vaguely recalled from past conventions. It had been a couple of years since she’d been to this particular one, so faces and names were not easily remembered. But there were a few bright spots, one man in particular that jolted her memory pleasantly, thinking back to another convention in New Orleans several years before.
As pleasant as that memory was however, Jen’s thoughts were fixed on RJ—hoping that something real might come from this tip. Unfortunately, before RJ and Jennifer could catch their breath, they were separated.
