Chapter Ten
Monday morning, Jen was back in the office bright and early. The vacation had refreshed her. Somehow the pile of things on her desk looked less ominous and certainly more manageable. It had been pretty stupid to run herself ragged for these months, but that was the price of self employment, and what her psyche demanded after her debacle with RJ. Now, life would take on some brand new beginnings, she could sense that in the light-hearted feelings that were defining her morning.
“So tell me about your weekend,” Meg said. She’d sauntered into Jen’s office with a handful of peanuts in her hand.
