Chapter Seven There was way too much attention being fixated on him, too many people walking their way. Scarlett’s family had her behaving as if she’d suddenly lost all her ability to reason, like a klutzy little girl. She’d damn near taken out what he knew was a one-year-old German Beamer, a top model. That would have been a call to the insurance company he didn’t want to make.
