"What the f**k?! She did what?" Helene yelled when I told her what happened, my hands on my temple massaging them while leaning further on the couch.
When I got home... Polmira's apartment, it was empty. She and the twins had stepped out.
I went to the bathroom to take a hot shower, ensuring to massage my scalp as I did. Then I went to the sitting room, my mind stuck on Polmira and everything that happened that morning.
