Jayden hadn't returned from his trip to New York and it had been a few weeks. I originally came to ask Victoria about it but... I accidentally overheard her conversation with him.
He had a son.
No... Not just a son, but children. Two bloody children.
I tried to keep my face calm after hearing that, and even pretended not to have heard anything when I finally came out of my hiding place.
I held on to the probability that it wasn't Jayden she was speaking to on the phone... But when she broke the news to me feel days after... It was confirmed.
I knew Jayden would try a few things to stop our marriage from coming to pass, and I was prepared for most of them... All I could think of.
I just didn't think that he would think of children.
