“For the last time Tyson, I will not accompany your girlfriend’s best friend grocery shopping,” he huffs as he got out of the car, annoyed and outraged by his best friend who would not shut up about setting him up with her, “Why not? I promise you, she’s cute and hot,” the male pouts as he tries to take the trolley away from Marc.
I should have know when he wanted to take the wheel something was up...
“I don’t care, don’t give a damn! I just want to get my groceries and get back home to finish my work,” he tried not to yell when Tyson snatch the cart away from him, innocently pushing it to the snacks section, “Why are you so grumpy today? Usually, after a one-night stand, you’d be up and running because you got your release, the complete opposite of you today,” I don't even want junk food!
Marc stops short at his words, possibly because I don’t know where my one-night stand ran off to or if I even had one... Oh! how about I don’t recall a single thing about her, which is weird, cause that never happened… “Nothing, and who said I had a one-night stand last night?” he failed to snatch his trolley back when Tyson jerk left, making him glare at his back, frustrated.
Where is this clown going now!?
“Well, I presumed you had last night since you left before I got there, Mia didn’t know you were there till I told her,” he was about to comment on that but Tyson began shouting towards two female figures, making them look back at him in surprise.
His eyes fell on Mia as she ran to him, her bright red hair bounces as she jumps and Tyson caught her easily but then he saw the woman Mia left behind, dark ashen blonde hair, big rimmed glasses and she seemed more than amused with them, like this wasn’t a first for her.
Have I seen her somewhere? But his thoughts got cut when Mia’s squeal registered his mind, “I missed you! I thought you were joking when you said you’re coming here,” she punches his arm and Tyson laughs, pecking her lips, “Missed you too babe, and what makes you think I’d pass another opportunity to introduce Maya and Marc?”
Marc didn’t have to look at best friend to know he was wiggling his eyebrows to her, causing the female to giggle, “Oh yeah, we didn’t get to last night since Maya left first,” he faces the lovebirds, “And Marc found a bimbo to be with, so yeah,” Tyson shrugs the matter away.
“I’m right here, no need to talk all secretive,” he exclaims sarcastically with his hands up in the air and they chuckle at him, ignoring him altogether, “Maya,” Mia calls out to her but she seemed to be far off somewhere.
Marc stares at the female, he could not see her eyes clearly, but it may be blue or grey, and she was tiny, well not literally but it was what stood out first, compared to Mia who’s 5’8, she seemed to be 5’2.
“MAYA!” Marc frown as he watches the woman jump as Mia tickles her, he found them amusing if not cute, “She’s cute right?” he curses inwardly when Tyson asked the thought that went through him, “No, she’s too small, not my type,” he bluntly state but his friend laugh.
“For now,” then he observes Tyson walking up to her, as she smiles awkwardly as they exchange words.

“Now that you two are well acquainted, I’ll take this trolley and buy your groceries Marc! Have fun you two!” Tyson suddenly claims and push the cart away, leaving Amelia, Amaya, and Marc blinking, “Come on babe, let them shop together,”
“Uh… I should... follow… him…” Amelia took a step to follow her boyfriend but Amaya jerk her back, “What are you doing?! You can’t leave me with him?” her eyes were as big as saucers and Mia tried not to laugh at the panic expression in her eyes.
“Why not, I don’t see anything wrong? It’s not like he’s going to bite you?” she gestured to the male, who looked irritated and wanted to kill Tyson, “I don’t know him!” she whisper-yell but Mia shrugs, leaving her gaping and in disbelieve as she makes a run to where her boyfriend disappeared to.
“Do they do this to you a lot?” she jumps at his deep voice, a hand over her erratic heart, I thought I escaped you when I left this morning, but how small is this world that you end up being the best friend to my best friend’s boyfriend!
“Hey! I asked you a question,” she frowns at his rude remark, “No they don’t, and if you think I have anything to do with this, I don’t!” she huffs and makes a sharp turn into the ladies isle, not caring if he followed her or not.
Amaya continues to shop, not caring to check if the male was tagging along or if he left when she was busy buying sanitary pads, “I need that,” she pouts at the pack of gelatin as she pulls the end of her braid, annoyed as in normality, someone would be there to help her reach the high shelves.
It had been hard for her to shop alone for the past 20 minutes, usually, she'd take Chet or Hayden or Mia as they all could help her get the stuff from the taller shelves.
I am never taking Mia grocery shopping ever again! Ugh! Why is she my best friend again?
“I think I can jump for it,” she sighs as she hops, making her surprised by the sudden bolt when her feet landed back on the floor, damn it! What the heck?! I thought I’m over the pain thing? What did he do to me last night?!
Cursing at the male for her pain, she attempts another hop, only to have herself staggering backward, she closes her eyes for the impact but instead of the cold hard floor, she felt a sturdy arm catch her and a hot breath by her forehead.
Looking up, she felt her breathing hitched when Marc looked at her with curious and amused eyes, “Need help there little butterfly?” not being able to answer him, she blinks repeatedly, I’ve never seen such deep grey-brown eyes, “Maya?” she snaps back to reality.
“T-thank y-you,” she pushes him away, dusting her sleeves as she avoids his eyes, “Which one do you need?” facing him confusedly, he gestures towards the shelves and she embarrassedly points to the packet of gelatin, on the highest shelve.
“I think even if you kept hopping like that, you still won’t be able to reach till next December,” he casually puts her item in the trolley then walks ahead, leaving Amaya thankful yet irritated with his words.
