Amaya woke up to the sound of beeps and disinfection scent. She groans in pain when she noticed the hospital walls. I’d never thought I’d be happy to be at the hospital… but how did I get here?
“Amaya!” a voice croaked and she snaps up in surprise, her mom seemed panicked as she fumbled with the buttons. “Which button was it? Oh god! You know what, I’ll just go call them. Wait here,” she said but her eyes didn’t look at Amaya at all.
