LEWIS’S POINT OF VIEW
It’s early December now and we are still waiting for Elder Ramus to get back. Apparently, he needs permission to take the older texts out. So, he is just waiting for a response from the King. Peter and Rowan are now part of the pack officially, so they can be with their mates and help Jess. She is taking her Luna duties very well and is becoming friends with nearly all pack members now. Although I can’t help but notice that when she has a sticky moment with someone they nearly always just walk away or come to her way of thinking with little to no effort on her part. Andrew called to inform me that their Elder denies knowing anything, but Andrew doesn’t believe him; apparently, Henry has taken to reading the whole library before Christmas trying to find something useful.
Today I had to go into town to my company office as there were some very dull meetings and contracts that needed my attention. It was just coming to the end of the day, and I was getting ready to go home when I get the call.
“Hello?”
“Hello, Alpha. It is Elder Ramus. Just calling to let you know that I have just been given permission and will be on my way back shortly.”
“Great. When will you be back home?”
“Should be back tomorrow.”
“Right. Well, I shall inform everyone so there will be a meeting held. Safe travels, Elder.”
“See you tomorrow, Alpha.”
With that, we hung up. I finished up the last email, as I really needed to get home so everyone can be informed. I raced home and got there in record time.
When I entered the pack house there weren’t many people about, and I was sure that everyone was still working. So, I walked upstairs to My Kitten’s office, and I knocked when I reached the door. After a few moments Peter opened the door looking a little worse for were. Once he knew it was me, he stepped aside letting me in and I saw that nearly everyone was already there.
