Chapter forty-two

213 Words
LAYLA’S POINT OF VIEW I was just sorting through all the marital I got for Jess’s wedding dress and finding the templates I used for her Luna dress, I thought I would add some amethyst crystals to the skirt of it. When peter came in looking a bit worried. “What’s wrong?” I ask him. “Princess, how quick do you think you could make Jess’s dress?” he asks concerned. “At most two weeks but should get it done in 10 days. Why?” “That’s good because Lewis booked the wedding for the 28th of this month.” He speaks. “Okay, then, well as long as nothing distracts me from it, I should be able to get it done quick enough,” I say confidently. He brings me into a big warm hug. I hugged him back and snuggled into his chest feeling his warmth and inhaling his scent. I swear if it was a drug, I would happily be an addict by now. When we broke apart, he left me to get to work even though he wanted to stay and watch me work, but for me, it was much easier and better for me to do it alone. Plus, Peter would just be a massive distraction.
