Chapter twenty-six

LEWIS’S POINT OF VIEW

“How are you doing boss?” Kane asked me as I finished adjusting my tie.

“I am nervous, but so f*****g ecstatic man,” I replied, everything was going to be perfect just for my Kitten.

“You ready? We got to go down and wait for the girls.” Angelo said as he slicked his hair back.

“Yeah, come on let's head down.”

We walked down to the entrance hall where we said we would meet the girls. We did not have to wait long for the girls to appear. My jaw dropped when I saw my Kitten. Purple really was her colour. Seeing how her breasts bounced as she walked down the stairs made my d**k unbearably hard. I shook my head clear when she stood in front of me.

“You look amazing, Kitten,” I said while I kissed her cheek.

I saw Kane and Angelo as they do the same with their mates; Layla looked a bit down as Peter was not with us.

“Hey. He is just waiting outside for you in the garden with everyone else.” Kane said nudging my sister on her arm.

“Shall we?” I said, bowing a little to my Kitten, kissing her hand.

She giggled and nodded. I held out my arm for her to take and she gladly took a hold of it. With that, we all headed to the garden.

“You okay, Kitten?” I asked as she seemed to be holding my arm a bit tighter than normal.

“Yeah. I just get stage fright that is all,” she said looking up at me.

I kissed the top of her head and gave her a reassuring smile before we stepped outside.

As we went through the garden, we mingled with the other pack members. It was not quite time for the ceremony, so we had a few minutes spare to get to know the other pack members. Nearly all the pack was here, unless their job was 24/7, like being a guard or a doctor, but in the hospital, we had set up a live stream of it to all the T. V’s so that as many people as possible could witness it. As we walked around meeting and greeting my father gave me a small nod indicating that it is time.

“It is time to do the ceremony, Kitten,” I said looking down at her, as she had not wondered from my side.

She smiled up at me I knew she was still nervous so I squeezed her hand letting her know that I will be with her, so she has no need to worry. Then she smiled up at me with so much confidence I almost questioned whether this was still my little Kitten. We walked up onto the stage where my parents are with my Bata and Gamma with their mates and Layla with Peter. Our Elder of the pack was there as well, Elder Ramus.

“Golden Moon Pack.” My father began in his Alpha voice, it did not have as much power as mine, but the pack loved him and listened to him no matter what. “Tonight, is a night of celebration. Tonight, is the night we welcome Jessica Livit into the pack not just as a member but as our new Luna.” He finished and applauded, the pack followed his lead applauding and howling as well, he indicated with his head for me and Jess to walk forward a bit.

We took a few steps forward so that we were now centre stage and everyone in human or wolf form could see us, and we could see them.

“Golden moon pack. As my father said tonight is a night of celebration and joy. Tonight, we will officially announce and welcome our new Luna into the pack. She is strong, brave, and has so many amazing qualities to help me to make our pack stronger.” I said this while continuing to look from my Kitten and then to the crowd to see how everyone reacts. “I, Lewis Anthony Johnson, Alpha of the Golden moon pack, hereby officially announce you, Jessica Livit, as my mate, my partner, my love, my Kitten, and my Luna.”

At this point, Elder Ramus stepped forward and stood to my left with Jess on my right and they faced each other.

“Jessica, please place your right hand over your heart.” Elder Ramus commanded and she did so. “Do you swear to rule by your Alphas side, to respect him and the pack, and the laws that we uphold?”

“Yes, I swear,” Jess said smiling.

“Do you swear to be just, kind, caring, and fair to all those that turn to you?” Elder Ramus continued.

“I swear.”

Elder Ramus smiled. He then pulled out a small golden dagger and a golden goblet.

“Now, Jess, if you may hold out your right hand. Alpha if you can do the same, please.” He spoke.

We did as he asked palms facing up. Elder Ramus then made a cut on our palms using the dagger. He then put our hands, so we were holding hands and placed the goblet under our hands. I could feel the bond with Jess get stronger and she smiled at me. Once our blood had mixed together, he smiled and nodded at us. We let go of each other’s bleeding hands and my mother came up quickly to wrap our hands up.

“Golden moon pack I present to you, your new Luna!” my father shouted, as he held out his right arm indicating to us.

I took hold of Jess’s hand again and kissed her knuckles and pushed her forward a bit so that she was centre stage as it should be. The whole pack cheered and clapped. Those in wolf form howled. Tonight, was defiantly one to remember that was for sure.
