ANDREW’S POINT OF VIEW
After lunch on Friday, I met up with Rowan and Henry and Peter, we had asked our Gamma if we could have a couple of days off to see Jess at her Luna ceremony, he wasn’t happy as it was last minute but let us anyway. I saw all of the guys standing by the gates of the territory we decided we would run and for Rowan to fly there. It’s been a while since we all went for a run together so it’ll be fun and will only take two and a half hours if we run at top speed the whole way plus we take the shortcut of going through the woods.
We were just coming up to the Golden moon territory when Peter had an idea.
“Bet you I get there first?”
“Oh, you are so on.”
The three of them took off at a top speed I just rolled my eyes and ran after them. They may be adults, but I swear there are all still kids. After another, a few minutes of running and the four of us had gone over the boundary wall. We put our bags down and shifted back. Even though Rowan wasn’t a wolf he kept up pretty well as a bat. He had a bit more of an advantage being able to fly over everything.
“Stop! Don’t move!”
Of course, coming in the way we did would’ve raised alarm bells. Oops. I felt like such a moron being a head guard and not thinking ahead. Within 20 seconds there were at least a dozen guards around us.
“We were invited here by the Luna for her ceremony,” I said while having my hands up. The guard that had shouted looked around at us to see if we were telling the truth.
“Names?”
“Andrew Matthews.”
“Peter Matthews.”
“Henry Eton.”
“Rowan Stokes.”
“We come from bottomless lagoon pack,” I inform them. Still being on alert, the guards looked at each other and nodded.
“Okay. Put some shorts on and come with us.”
We did as we were told, feeling grateful to cover up at last. Not that it was a big deal being werewolves came with the occupational hazard of being naked in front of people sometimes.
We walked in silence for 10 minutes while having the guards all around us, probably to make sure we didn’t try anything.
