Chapter seventeen

LEWIS’S POINT OF VIEW

“Alpha, we caught a group of intruders. They say they were invited by the Luna for her ceremony.”

“How many? Names?”

“Four all males. Andrew and Peter Matthews, Henry Eton, and Rowan Stokes. They say they are from Bottomless Lagoon pack.”

“Bring them to my office.”

After the mind link convocation with Richard, I leaned back in my office chair and sighed. I cannot believe she forgot to tell anyone that she invited her friends I wouldn’t have minded but with the rouge attack and the whole Rebecca thing now is not the time to be forgetting who is invited into the pack.

15 minutes later someone knocked. “Come in.” Richard came in followed by the group of men including his guards. “Richard, you and Derick stay the rest of the guards can get back to work.” The rest of the guards bowed their heads and left, leaving just us. “Explain. Now!”

After another few minutes turns out Jess did invite them, and they thought they would be funny and jump over the wall instead of using the gate like an actually invited guest.

“Angelo, Kane get the Luna in my office right away please.”

“Yes, Alpha.”

“Alpha, Kane found her coming back from the library and is bringing her now,” Angelo said a few moments later walking into the office looking around at the new arrivals. Clearly confused. I told him who they were and why they are here. He nodded and stood back a bit.

They were still in just shorts as their bags are being searched just in case. Before anyone could blink Jess came sprinting into the office and at once jumped into Peter's arms.

“Our mate!”

Leo was shouting in my head seeing our mate in the arms of another let alone one that is practically naked! I let out a growl for her to know I was very unhappy about this! She told me to shut it! I’m going to spank her ass so hard she won’t be able to sit for a week!

When she finished hugging them all and she turned to me wondering what was going on I just had to raise an eyebrow for her to get she didn’t tell anyone. I held out my hand for her and she took it with no complaints. I pulled her to sit on my lap, and I wrapped my arms around her as she did the same. I rested my head on her shoulder breathed in her scent within a few seconds I felt much better.

“Mine,” I whispered.

“All yours.” She whispered back.

“You cannot just invite people without telling anyone Kitten. You know you should have at least let Daddy know.”

“Yes, Daddy I know I was going to tell you but then the whole thing with Rebecca happened and I completely forgot about it. I’m sorry Daddy.”

She pouted at me. Knowing I won’t stay mad at her with that look on her face. I pulled her in for a kiss. When we were done, she was panting a little bit. It just turned me on more at which point she wiggled her ass on my couch knowing it would get me hard in seconds. She smirked at me; I pulled her down to whisper in her ear.

“You’re going to regret teasing me, Kitten.” I heard her gulp, and I chuckled to myself.

Once the whole matter was over and sorted, I told Angelo to take the guys to some guest rooms. But Jess insisted to do it herself and even though I didn’t want to leave her alone with these men, I trusted her and let her do it. I was busy with some contracts that I got from other firms asking to switch to our security systems. When I had sorted the last contract out, which was two hours later, I decided to head to the bedroom and get it sorted for Jess’s punishment.
