Chapter five

LEWIS’S POINT OF VIEW As my kitten fell asleep on my shoulders, I smiled to myself, I finally had my mate. I could not wait to get home and introduce her to my family and the rest of the pack and just show her off in general. All her clothes seemed to be either old or basic. I thought once she had settled in, I would take her shopping and spoil her rotten. She started to snore gently, even her snores were cute. Damn it, this girl got me wrapped around her little finger already. I knew I was going to do anything for this girl, and I mean anything she wanted. After what happened between her and Molly, I was told that Molly was jealous of Jess because she and Peter were friends and, from what others say, more than friends. I couldn’t really complain as I wasn’t a saint either. I f****d around my fair share too. Molly’s punishment for attacking a pack member with no justifiable reason should have been banishment, but as she was the Batas daughter it was a few days in the dungeon. I scoffed at that. Even ranked members in my pack were treated the same if they were to break any laws. I didn’t treat them differently just because of rank. I turned my thoughts back to Jess. I was still annoyed that someone had seen her, touched her, and caressed her. I suppose that’s why Leo always growled when Peter got too close to Jess. But I just reminded him that that wouldn’t happen again and that as mates we were made for each other and that when we mated, we would be giving each other the best orgasms we ever had. I felt my d**k start to get hard at just that thought; I had to suppress my urges because I knew I couldn’t rush this if I wanted her to stay. As we got closer to our pack, I thought it would be a good idea to wake my kitten up so she could see her new pack and land for the first time. “Kitten,” I said quietly in her ear. She stirred and opened her eyes slowly. “We’re just coming up to our pack now; I thought you would like to see it.” She sat up, rubbed her eyes a little and looked out the windows just as we pulled up to the gates. “Wow.” She whispered under her breath. Just as we went through the gates, her eyes popped a little. “Your pack is massive. I thought I was having trouble cleaning my Packhouse.” She said this as we drove up to the Packhouse. “Our pack. Don’t worry; you won’t have to do any cleaning here.” I smiled at her as her jaw dropped more when the Packhouse came into view. As Kane drove through the gates and round the little fountain that marked the roundabout outside the packhouse, I saw my parents, my sister, Layla, Kane’s mate, and both my Gamma’s outside waiting to greet us. They were chatting excitedly, and I knew that Kane had probably sent word ahead as to what had happened at the Bottomless Lagoon pack. Jess looked more nervous now; I gave her shoulders a quick squeeze and a smile to reassure her that it'd all be okay. She nodded at me and as the car parked, Kane got out and opened my door. I stepped out and went to open my mate's door. I held out my hand for her. When she held on to it, I felt the sparks shoot through my body at her touch. She stepped out and looked up at me, smiled, and as one we turned to face the small group of people. They all smiled back at us, and my mother came hurrying down the steps, closely followed by my father and everyone else. Jess tensed a little at this sudden rush of people. My mother is a kind-looking woman who was nearing her fifties now, and she only had flecks of gray in her brown hair, her skin was lightly tanned, and she had green eyes. My father, on the other hand, had pure gray hair, almost silver and, despite his age, he is still as fit as he ever was. My sister had charcoal black hair that reached her mid-back when it was down, her skin was tanned, and her eyes were green, not exactly like my mother's. “Oh, my Goddess! It’s true.” My mother screamed, making everyone in the immediate vicinity flinch. For a kind and gentle woman, she had a very high-pitched voice when she was loud and excited, which made our sensitive werewolf ears ring. I felt sorry for my dad having to hear it nearly every day. She embraced Jess, almost crushing her. She was so happy. Jess, on the other hand, just looked terrified. “Mum, you are crushing her.” I joked as I pried my mum off, and she went to stand by my father, who put his arm around her to keep her from doing it again. “Is this her, son?” “Yes, father. This is Jessica Livit, my mate, My Kitten, and My Luna.” I say this while beaming and showing Jess off to them. Her cheeks became slightly redder. I loved how easily she got embarrassed; it was the most adorable thing ever. My mother shrieked, if possible, even louder than before, making us all flinch to cover our ears. My father held out his hand. Once the shrieking had stopped, and Jess took it he clapped his other hand over hers and said with a wide smile. “Welcome, Luna. My name is Fred, this is my mate, Rhianna, and this is our daughter, Layla.” Pointing to them both, they bowed their heads respectfully to my kitten. Kane was standing by his mate's side by now. “This is Leah, my mate.” She stepped forward, giving her a gentle hug. Leah was the same size as my mother and her hair was a medium shade of brown and was in a high ponytail. Then my Gamma, Angelo, came forward with his mate, Lily, introducing themselves. Angelo was almost the same height as Kane, with sandy hair that was always messy no matter how many times he combed it. Lily was just taller than my Jess and her hair was a golden blonde and reached her shoulders. “Hi. Please you can all call me Jess. It’s nice to meet you all.” She still seemed nervous, but she smiled at all of them just the same. We walked up the stairs, some omegas had come out to help us with our bags and all of Jess’s stuff. I instructed them to put it all in my bedroom and not to unpack any of it. I didn’t want anyone touching Jess’s things without her knowing. The girls were hounding Jess with all sorts of questions as we got to the doors of the packhouse, and I knew they would become very close friends, or at least I hoped so. Jess was smiling and laughing with them. I suppose it helped because they were all similar in age. I was happy that my family accepted her with open arms; I knew they would, but I couldn’t help but feel a bit nervous about their reactions just in case they didn’t.
