Theo’s POV
The heavy truth hung in the cabin like a dark cloud.
Selena was completely frozen. Her beautiful face was pale, and her brown eyes were wide with pure shock.
She just found out that her entire life was a lie. The people she loved, the people she thought were her parents, weren't her parents and I know that she doesn't remember her life but that has to sting.
"I... I need some air," She whispered, her voice shaking violently. "I need to go outside for just a minute."
She stood up from the sofa and she looked overwhelmed, like she couldn't breathe.
"Selena, wait," I said softly, standing up with her.
"Please, Theo," she begged quietly, stepping back. "Just give me one minute. I just need to stand outside and catch a breath. I promise I won't go far."
