Theo’s POV
I felt a deep sense of justice after what l did especially because Selena knows what I'm willing to do for her, but the heavy tension in the air hadn't disappeared. It only got worse.
My Beta, Owen, stood right in front of my desk. He was a loyal friend but right now he looked like he disapproved of my decision.
"The elders are furious. The entire pack is torn."
I slowly dragged my eyes away from my paperwork and looked at him. " They needed to learn a lesson."
"You don't understand," Owen argued, shaking his head rapidly. "You didn't just punish someone. You publicly humiliated three of our strongest, most loyal female warriors. And you did it for a woman they all believe is just a weak human stray"
