The person behind me kicked me. I fell onto the ground. The unfamiliar environment and the events that would occur later made me feel helpless.

There were many people who coveted the position of being Mrs. Boone. There were also many people who would attempt to butter Valentin up. And there were also many who wished to destroy Valentin.
I always thought that those meticulous people merely performed antics within what was legally allowed. I had no idea that these people had long lost their minds.
